This is a "posh" restaurant. The setting is amazing, the service is excellent and the menu is great. I especially enjoyed one of the starters (some kind of smoky sausage) and the desert (merengue, whipped cream, fruits) that came with the menu. We booked for our 1st nights meal in Porto as it was our anniversary and thought it would be a super special meal in amazing surroundings. It was a beautiful building and the restaurant looked very classy. The temperature was a bit on the chilly side, the service was quick (maybe too quick!)but there was nice gentle music playing and we... I would love to give this 4 stars as the building is just gorgeous and the service impeccable and the price amazing but the main courses just were not very good the night we visited. I would give another half a star if possible for all of the above though. And if we went to Porto again I would give... More

Great location, Inside a beautiful old building. Good wines and bubbles. Starters were ok. The turbot (main) was very nice! Dessert was good.

It wasn't easy to find a non-touristic restaurant near the river. This restaurant is located in a nice palace ( watch the main entrance dome when itsis dark outside ) and the restaurant's interior is stylish ( you can't sit outside however ) . The menu is nice and a little bit inventive. It was only at the deserts that... More

It is a traditional/ modern portuguese cuisine restaurant with a beautiful inside stone decor. The food is very good and well presented. The wine selection is very good too. It is a nice place for business/ friends' lunches or cozy dinners.

We had such a good lunch here that we went back for dinner the same day. Excellent fixed price menu, good wines and friendly and knowledgeable service. Also no loud music so brilliant for those who don't want their conversation drowned out by terrible disco music! Overall an excellent dining experience.

The quality of food offered and its presentation are of the highest class. Relax in an unhurried atmosphere with comfortable seating and ample space, all within part of the old Porto stock exchange building. The €20 fixed price dinner menu (and €15 at lunch) are a relatively recent innovation designed to boost patronage - it is far from obvious that... More
