The food is great, the service is more than great. In downtown Porto, in a street you just walked by. The kids want to eat here every day. A place to be!

Arrived here late on a Monday night without our lonely planet guidebook and thought it looked busy, so must be worth a try. Sitting inside upstairs left us waiting a while before we were offered a menu and longer still until our order was taken. The recommended bottle of Vinho Verde was very good and when the fish came it... More

The waiter mixed up dishes and doesnt apologized at all. Dirty plates take away from the table after the dinner only. Used napkins no one is removed at all. The toilets like in the Sovet Union communal flat - nightmarish.

We thought we'd found a local place to enjoy some real Portuguese food, but ended up very disappointed. We first ordered a starter, which consisted of some cheese, chorizo and olives. The cheese and olives were acceptable, but the chorizo was too greasy. Then we ordered some sardines. Although they were served without any extra's, they tasted very nice. As... More

Their food is good, the service is friendly. I've got my food earlier than I was expected. I specially liked its atmosphere.

We accidentally come to this cafe after daily sightseeing, and were enjoyed by nice service with Portugal cousin. Clearly, it's not a French gastronomic, but for Porto it is very well.

Bring lots of time and patience. We waited for over 40 minutes before we asked for our food. We were not in a hurry, but deliberately went for the same daily menu, hopping it would be speedy, as we still wanted to do some sightseeing. Our waitress remained friendly although became slightly terrified. The Manager assured us the food would... More

We had dinner in Solar do Patio. The place is nice, with some tables out in a patio. There were only a few people when we arrived and we asked for grilled fish, so we thought it was going to be fast. It took almost an hour to get our food and it was ok, but not for waiting so... More

I decided to go to this restaurant, as it is at a very nice scenic place and seemed to be very pleasant, but it was a nightmare: - We waited at least one hour for the food, and the restaurant wasn't crowded - The food was with no taste at all and far from what the Portuguese do so good... More
