Fantastic Dining Experience in Porto!!

I found out about Casa Ines from watching a Japanese TV show called "Sekai Hairinikui Izakaya". In the program, their dishes looked positively scrumptious. Therefore, my expectations for this restaurant were sky high with anticipation. They are located in a traditional Porto neighborhood, a... read more

I found out about Casa Ines from watching a Japanese TV show called "Sekai Hairinikui Izakaya". In the program, their dishes looked positively scrumptious. Therefore, my expectations for this restaurant were sky high with anticipation. They are located in a traditional Porto neighborhood, a little distance from the city center. However, it was definitely worth the trip. I told the... More

The first impression was not very positive. Upon entering the restaurant, you get into a empy room, where the is no good taste with the decoration. In the second room, a little more welcoming, I was greeted by the owner of the restaurant and he told me that some dishes were sold out (12,45h). I ordere half of roasted veal... More

good experiment to enrich the basic portoguese cooking. Extremely friendly staff. Fried octopus with rice and intersting local wine.

Great appetizer sardines ! Great octopus, although i prefer grilled not fried. Interesting desert sweet vermicelli - owner insisted we try it and did not charge for it. We enjoyed it. Great service, nice waiter, friendly owner. Solid restaurant.

After reading the (international) chefs recommendations we started looking for this well hidden restaurant. Just 200 meters off Campanha station we entered the Rua de Miraflor on the southside. Right at the end of the street we found Casa Ines on the left-hand side. The interior is backdated (but clean), which in this case adds to the experience. There was... More

I was on my own for one night in Porto staying at Estadio Dragao area..looking for a quiet place without having to go to the Centre. The taxi advice on TA was important to find the place in a narrow street...( but after my meal I made way back on Metro from Campagna which is easy to find .. even... More

Went here due to TA rating and was not disappointed. Luckily we got a cab as I dont think we would have found it. very Portugese and very nice. The owner seemed aloof when we entered but was a best friend within 10 minutes! i ordered the stuffed squid with rice and am still dreaming of it. I did ask... More
