Gorgeous deli, delicious food

Great location near Sao Bento. Beautifully designed deli, good selection of cheese, meat and salads. Friendly service, but a little slow. Excellent spot for people watching.

First: we need a nice sunshine day. Second: a place outside in the few tables available. Then is time for very good tapas. We started with "covillhetes" a pastry from the Douro region. They were smashing! Next a plate of cheese and charcuterie, with a very nice and cold beer. We we spent a good time talking and watching the... More

We went here twice in a week, which is testament to the food and atmosphere. Although there is an outside seating area which is great for watching people in the busy shopping and restaurant street, we sat inside. This was not only because it was out of the glare of the sun, but because we liked looking at the pretty... More

Went here four times in a four day trip to Porto. Great place to grab a drink and a snack or a light lunch. Several wines by the glass and different beers. Small plates of cheese, cured meats and fish, as well as salads. Desserts very good as well. Try the lime cake! Nice patio as well as some seats... More

Great place for a nice glass of Porto wine accompanied by some delicious cheeses. Friendly staff with good knowledge of the food they serve. Will definitely come here again.

It was a day of shopping in the downtown and I wanted to make a quick and tasty lunch and so, after reading favorable opinions on tripadvisor, I went confident, I got a toast (italian bruschetta style - slice of bread with a slice of tomato, a piece cheese and a very microscopic mushroom) and more two slices of ham,... The concept for this place is great. It's basically an open market store which sells everything from organic Portuguese trout in a can to wine and cheese. And of course port! Paired up with good design and branding, it's everything you need for a quick snack at home or picnic, however it can also be enjoyed in the cafe too... More

This place is great for a light lunch. The food is tasty and well presented at a good price. The staff were friendly and efficient without being over bearing. It was quiet when I first arrived so there wasn't much atmosphere, however this was compensated by the range of wines and tinned fish to look at and buy. During my... More

Just okey I would say, nothing special at all. For the price we paid you can get much better deals in Porto. The service was nice and helpful and the food good although it was scarce on the plate. The downside of the place, however, was the bill which turned out to be about 6€ higher than listed on the... More

Great little place for an afternoon "pick me up" snack. Yes, service was a bit slow. But nothing exceedingly extraordinary. They apologized without us even complaining about it. We are glad we stopped by.
