We visited on the way back to the station after a day in porto. Almost missed the train as service was appauling, sadly the portions were also tiny so cant recommend for thèse reasons. 45 minutes for some bread and cheese!

Very pleasant little place right on the Rua Flores, stopped as we walked down from the train station. Great for a couple of glasses of good Douro wine and a few small pies, some vegetable, some chicken.

Not far from the riverfront, and Sao Bento train station (kind of in between the two - if my memory is correct), this cafe/wine bar/regional gourmet food store is a great little spot. Menu items are best shared. The grilled sheep milk cheese with oregano, honey and olive oil and breads is fantastic.

Super delicious salad with cured ham and cheese. Very reasonable priced even though the portion size wasn't that big. Good home made lemonade too. Open also on Sundays. I highly recommend!

Wow, just wow... This place is really special. Their ham platter of local meats is just divine. The fried sheep's cheese was incredible. The salads and other dishes also great. One of the best meals I've had and ridiculously inexpensive.

Very nice place. A modern version of typical Portuguese "casa de petiscos". Very nice beers and excellent food . Is located at Rua das flores that was recently renovated.

Lovely fresh food, good quality products in small portions. Perfect for a light lunch/ snack. However, service was extremely slow and we had to wait around 5 minutes standing at the till until the guy who was behind the counter figured out how to work the cash register. He might have been new but none of the other people working... More

We went here in search of a light lunch after a couple of days of heavier fare. We were able to sit out on the street (shady and not too busy) and were given a very friendly welcome. The food was perfect - salad, olives, bread, a slice of cake and iced tea, all of it home-made and organic. Don't... More

We passed by and noticed that we could have some tapas and a drink there, even though it was very close to closing time. The tapas were delicate and good. We wanted to have a beer, and they proposed a local bio-beer. The service and friendliness were top!
