Bumped into this place accidentally - noticed on the way out the 2014 TA award. I had grilled "swordfish" - friend had baked veal. Fish was very good but not "real" swordfish - Portuguese language has 2 words that translate to swordfish in English - Peixe Espada - Scabbard fish, not to be confused for swordfish, as it looks much... This place was behind the Trindade metro station, not too difficult to find. We went in at about 8 pm and it was really busy. We were seated by a friendly waitor who also recommended their signature dish i.e., pork knuckel. The portion of the pork was big enough for 2-3 people and it was only for 25 Euro. We... More

A very charming restaurant on the center of Oporto, close to the Trindade, undergrand station. Please follow the list, don't forget to taste the wine

Highly recommended - we went here for dinner and found the place very friendly. They have a daily special which when we were there consisted of a huge smoked pork joint. The recommended rosado wine was very refreshing, and the whole meal came to about 25 euro for two.

Nine of us invaded Antunes at 2100 hour July 15, 2014. The breads and appetizers began immediately and they were delicious. White wine, red wine, and white port from local vineyards quenched our thirst until the main courses arrived - steaks, grilled tuna and my favorite, the pork special. We were all well fed then the cheesecakes arrived to sweeten... More

My wife and I had a fantastic Saturday lunch at Antunes. The Pernil is amazing. Other dishes at neighbouring tables looked great, too. They also have a lovely house red wine from Douro for 9 euros/bottle. Our whole meal (bread/salad/main/wine/water/coffee/dessert) cost a little over 30 euros. The service was very good as well. What a great experience!

This is a must in Porto!! Saw the reviews and decided to give it a try on our 1st night; it's not very far from the main station. It's a local restaurant, filled with a good mix of tourists and locals. The 1st night we went wasn't very busy, we were seated right away. Victor our server is an amazing... More

For those from the UK, you would have had this before - it is called gammon. Almost. No big deal. Wine relatively cheap but then this is Portugal where one can get a bottle of drinkable wine from local supermart for less than €2. Mostly tourists when I was there - all probably read tripadvisor.

We were recommended the Roasted Pork and it was very good and juicy. We ordered a bottle of wine plus dessert. I really enjoyed everything in this restaurant and the waiter was amazing.
