Amazing restaurant.

Congratulacions to the chef, he gives us a very nice surprise. We loved because the dinner and the atmosphere of the hotel create for us a romântico night.

We signed up for the New Year's Eve dinner with high expectations and while it was an enjoyable evening, we certainly were not left wowed by the food. The dinner consisted of a set menu with 6 courses and none of them stood out or were in any way memorable. The crayfish and chickpea stew was luke-warm, the veal tail... More

We expected a lot of this well regarded restaurant but, in the end, were disappointed. The waiter explained that we could either have a tasting menu or eat a la carte, which he said meant larger portions of a smaller number of the same courses. Although both options were similar in price, we decided to have three larger courses instead... More

Fine dinning that won't dissapoint. I went for one of the fixed menus and each course was a pleasant surprise. Lovely sequence and combination of ingredients. The wine pairing was also excellent. Service was also excellent. Eduardo responded to all my questions about food and wine. He even printed a description of all the wines for me. I recommend to... More

This is a first class Foodie Restaurant. Jorge Soares, the Food and Beverage Manager, is absolutely first class as is the Chef. I hope that the food and wine scene in Porto catchs up to the quality of this Restaurant. It is located in the Hotel Teatro, but aside from the entry they have taken over the area for the... More

We stayed at the hotel and had dinner here one night. We did the 5 course with wine. Wonderful. Excellent amuse bouce, too. We agree with all the raving reviews. Try it before it gets too popular..

Two weeks travelling in Spain, Portugal and France and we wonder if we have just had the best meal of our holiday? Undoubtedly fine dining at a very high level, presented in an exceptional way Restaurant Palco in Hotel Teatro succeeds wher many others do not. From the moment you arrive outside yo wonder what lies within. An ultra modern... More

Recommended by our B&B, Palco was an exceptional dining experience. Food, wine, service and presentation were all first rate. The dining room is an architectural work of art. Easily the best restaurant we found in Portugal. Thanks to Jorge Soares for making us feel welcome.

This restaurant is worth a michelin star. The cuisine is creative and very good. The wine selection was also excellent.
