Chick and stylish

Perfect waiter and waitresses, perfect service, very good food. Located in a hotel, so you have to go through the hotel, the lighting of the restaurant was not to my taste.

No complaints. It's quality. But i sense that they're trying to hard to be cutting edge. Over hyped? Over swanky? And over priced? None of these are criticisms but diners need to know what to expect and what all their Euros are buying here. There are even more exciting choices in Oporto at a fraction of this price.

We booked for 8pm and arrived at a deserted restaurant. Unsurprisingly our welcome was superb. We chose the 55 Euro tasting menu and ordered the additional complimentary wines at 22 Euros. The result was an outstanding experience. Delicious "leaves" followed by Turbot and crayfish, egg watercress and Iberian ham, then lamb followed by a strawberry and cardio an pud. The menu was... Congratulacions to the chef, he gives us a very nice surprise. We loved because the dinner and the atmosphere of the hotel create for us a romântico night.

We signed up for the New Year's Eve dinner with high expectations and while it was an enjoyable evening, we certainly were not left wowed by the food. The dinner consisted of a set menu with 6 courses and none of them stood out or were in any way memorable. The crayfish and chickpea stew was luke-warm, the veal tail... More

We expected a lot of this well regarded restaurant but, in the end, were disappointed. The waiter explained that we could either have a tasting menu or eat a la carte, which he said meant larger portions of a smaller number of the same courses. Although both options were similar in price, we decided to have three larger courses instead... More

Fine dinning that won't dissapoint. I went for one of the fixed menus and each course was a pleasant surprise. Lovely sequence and combination of ingredients. The wine pairing was also excellent. Service was also excellent. Eduardo responded to all my questions about food and wine. He even printed a description of all the wines for me. I recommend to... More

This is a first class Foodie Restaurant. Jorge Soares, the Food and Beverage Manager, is absolutely first class as is the Chef. I hope that the food and wine scene in Porto catchs up to the quality of this Restaurant. It is located in the Hotel Teatro, but aside from the entry they have taken over the area for the... More

We stayed at the hotel and had dinner here one night. We did the 5 course with wine. Wonderful. Excellent amuse bouce, too. We agree with all the raving reviews. Try it before it gets too popular..
