We stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant on a saturday night, and thought we would try our luck. It was very busy, but instead of turning us away, room was made for a table of 2 and we had a gastronomic delight! The owner treated us like we were friends, and with a good english vocabulary. Our 3 course meal was scrumptious,the... More

A busy restaurant with a good atmosphere and good value, tasty food. We found we needed to book for a Saturday evening dinner. Friendly and efficient staff. What more could you want for an informal night out with friends?

Thanks to Antonio, the owner, for providing us with not only the best food, but taking care of us as if we were family. From the moment we entered this quaint, charming restaurant, he took care of us. I wanted a pasta, my husband wanted meat (hadn't had meat for 3 weeks of our travel). Antonio prepared perhaps the best... More

Ate at Casa da Foz on a cool July evening when we were feeling tired and hungry after a full day shopping. It was wonderful, I adore simple Italian food and this did not disappoint. The menu choice was enormous and the smell as you walked in was warming and inviting. I chose the old favourite Spaghetti Bolognese because simple... More

We stayed a few doors down from Casa de Foz and wanted a change from the Portuguese food we had been eating for 10 days. We really enjoyed our dinner. The white sangria was fantastic!

My fellow travelers and I had dinner here at the end of May 2014. The pizza and calzone were delicious and the pastas were fantastic! One thing to note, the proprietor is very understanding of allergies. My wife, who has a severe peanut allergy, was able to eat here without any issues.

We came back to Foz in May, and following the destruction of restaurant Shis, (review posted) asked the Hotel for some good restaurant recommendations. This one, round the back of the Hotel, was high on their list and rightly so. Its Italian menu theme, with a twist, has also several Portugese dishes which are cooked in this Casa's very individual... More
