My fellow travelers and I had dinner here at the end of May 2014. The pizza and calzone were delicious and the pastas were fantastic! One thing to note, the proprietor is very understanding of allergies. My wife, who has a severe peanut allergy, was able to eat here without any issues.

We came back to Foz in May, and following the destruction of restaurant Shis, (review posted) asked the Hotel for some good restaurant recommendations. This one, round the back of the Hotel, was high on their list and rightly so. Its Italian menu theme, with a twist, has also several Portugese dishes which are cooked in this Casa's very individual... More

Very cozy restaurant. Italian food is fantastic but there is also great Portuguese choices in the menu. Appetizers also good and the Sangria is a must drink. The owner is an extremely nice guy.

We ate here one evening on a recommendation from the receptionist at our hotel, the Boa Vista. It is just around the back of the hotel, maybe 100 mtrs. Wonderful meal, wonderful evening. Small and noisy, excellent service. We asked about portion size for the starters, we had the local smoked ham, one portion was advised and it was more... More

I live in Oporto and I'm a client for more than 12 years. I came here with my girlfriend, later with my wife and now, it's my children's favorite. Do I need to say more?

We had been staying amongst the cobbled back streets of Foz (best area in Porto by far) and walked past this tiny place a couple of times. We saved it until our last night in Porrugal and it was perfect. You enter by ringing the doorbell and are then welcomed heartily. A table for two was quickly arranged by the... More

The restaurant is tucked away in the back streets of Foz and is compact in size - it actually feels you're in someone's house. The menu is standard Italian fayre and reasonably priced and comes recommended by the locals as one of the best Italians in town. I was there for pizza which was tasty, well cooked home made dough... A great cosy restaurant with very good italian food. The owner is very friendly and takes pride in his food, as he should. The pizzas are made with extra thin crusts and good quality ingredients, the pastas are great and the beef Wellington is to die for. I wouldn't recommend it for more than say 6 people as it is...
