This is really one of the best sushi restaurant i've ever tried. I have been here together with my girlfriend who, unfortunately, doesn't like raw fish but the chef was so nice to prepare also something cooked for her. We have tried tuna, prawns and sea bass uramaki: they were all very fresh and tasty. The carpaccio of tuna was... More

We visited kyodai last week. It is in the fenix hotel. The service and chefs were amazing. We had the 5 course dinner for one person and ordered about 20 extra sushis. All together 75 euro. Its was worth every penny. Extremely original and creative food and excellent presentation.especially the inari sushi, in the shape of a little boat was... More

My boyfriend and I visited Kyodai based on the high Trip Advisor ratings it received. They had no menu for us to look at and suggested to prepare a 3-course + miso menu for us. We assumed the price would be similar to other higher-end restaurants in Porto, but it ended up being at least twice the price of other... More

One of the best Sushi meals I've had ever! Fresh, delicious and well presented. More importantly, the hospitality and warmth demonstrated by the chef and hostess left us amazed! :) Would surely recommend this cosy place.

I called before arrival to make a reservation because it was friday night - but when we arrived we were the only guests. So we got seated and the menu started immideately. After eating the appetizer I asked for the card and they told me that its not possible to order - only menu. But I was there with my... More

Best sushi I've ever tried in Portugal! A bit hard to find the place, well hidden but totally worths the trouble! Small sushi restaurant but with a great attitude. Edson and Edivaldo were great hosts. Must visit when in Porto!

The best in Portugal in my opinion, very, very good. No menu, the chef will send food to the table and it's not the typical sushi stuff, a lot of different Japonese food. Very, very good.

This is a small restaurant in the back-alley of Porto. They serve first-class sushi and other japanese dishes. The chef who seems to run the place was very friendly but the gem of the place was the waitress, a lady who as a perfect touch of serving customers - she doesn't speak English but that did not disturb the wondeful... After visiting a bunch of sushi places (mainly in Porto, but other cities/countries as well), I'm sold. Kyodai will provide you with the best meal and sushi experience you've had so far. The only problem is that it'll ruin all other sushi places for you, as you're craving to come back! The meal itself is formidable. The fish is of... More
