Don’t miss this place! After its suggestion in Lonely Planet me and my gf went there and over the course of the next 12hrs we had a total of 7 roast pork sandwiches which are super yum and awesome value.

If you´re in Porto and you don´t make it to this place you´ve done yourself an injustice. I try not to repeat restaurants when I´m traveling as there are so many great places to try but after having this sandwich once I woke up craving it a few days later. I had the #8 both times I was there. It... More

This is so worth the effort of finding it - we were in Porto for four days and ate here on three of them ! On day one we started with two sandwiches , day two we had three and on the third day we made complete pigs (excuse the pun) of ourselves and had four !! Had to queue... More

Difficult to describe this place, is it a bar, or cafe, sandwich shop or even a restaurant? Anyway we tried it after it was mentioned by another reviewer in passing. We arrived quite early around 7.15 as it gets very busy. You queue, order and pay for your food and then find a seat either inside or out on the... More

great soups and the best pork sandwiches i can remember, get yours drenched in sauce or dripping, many variants available on the pork theme...add cheese if you like. extremely reasonable prices. you stand in line first and order and pay then find a seat not the other way round, there's no real table service until you've ordered and sat down.... Ignore the looks of the place, ask for two "pernil sandwiches" and the rosé wine and have a lovely evening! If you like strong cheese, order it, otherwise be carefull :)

If you search for typical food for just a little money, you have to go there. Great soups and exceptional sandwiches make the place an everyday stop-by in Porto!!

Went here after seeing the reviews and there was indeed a queue of people out the door. However, the 15 mins wait for the order to be taken at the bar was worth it as the sande de pernil com quejo was amazing. The spicy sauce gives a great taste to the juicy meat and the soft cheese is a... More

Beautiful roast pork sandwich with local cheeses. Excellent value. Try the mixed meat and cheese platter with some sangria. Authentic local food. FAB

Very tasty pork sandwiches. Do mind stopping by and grabbing one or two. I had the regular one and one with melted cheese. Both very good, but I think I liked the regular one more. Very cheap (2.75€ regular 3.75@ with melted cheese). Good spot for a quick lunch or late afternoon snack. It's not a big place, and at... More
