A must if you visit Porto

This is a very trendy and typical restaurant well known by locals and very popular nowadays by tourists. Do not expect a fancy place. This is everything but fancy. You will need to order, pay and pick up your order at the counter, no table service, and they only have two tables inside. If the... read more

Look no further - Menu 8, Sande de Pernil com Queijo!!! Amazing roasted pork sandwiches with cheese from Serra da Estrela. The freshly baked bread adds to the delicious flavor. I've tried Bifanas many times before in various locations. However, this is the best by far! Accept No Substitute!!!

Here you can have some of the best sandwiches in Porto. I recommend them with or without the serra cheese. If you are in Porto you must visit it.

Very small place in the center of Porto. Sandwiches of "Pernil de porco e queijo da Serra" are awesome! In most days you'll realize how good they are by waiting in line to get them. :)

Casa Guedes serves outstanding pork sandwiches as well as other tasty dishes in a small but very pleasant location next to a park. Excellent Sangria is a great addition to any meal.

You'll be surrounded with locals when you go to this place. A real local spot that serves cheap, tasty sandwiches. Their specialities include different types of roasted pork. For 3 euros, it is surely worth a visit.

If you had one meal left on earth and loved pork, I'd come here for the roast pork sandwich with cheese. The sangria is great as well. If there's a line, wait in it, as there is a reason. The food is great.

when our Portuguese friend recommended to eat the pork sandwiches here, I actually thought "why would I want to eat pork sandwiches in Portugal?" I must apologise for this because it was just amazing! Make sure you order pork and mountain cheese sandwich! Ordinary one doesn't come with cheese. We had 2 each for lunch. It's not because they were... More
