Welcome to a quite, rustic 19th century house, just in front of river Douro, where Portuguese wine and food are the perfect excuse to forget the world and to enjoy the moment. An open kitchen where we love what we do to whom we do. A wide variety of Portuguese wines (15 by the glass) from which you can choose. Far from confusion, protected yet exposed, we look to pay an Ode to those who visit us - our guests. Relax. Fell at home.

We loved everything about Ode - the food, the wine, the service & the atmosphere. The service was attentive but not over the top. The food was delicious - beautifully presented Portugese traditional cuisine with a twist. The old renovated building adds to the atmosphere.

We were here for dinner. Restaurant itself is small, but very cosy with very good service. All meals are really authentic, menu short, but interesting. Waiter will explaing you everything about the local cousine, recommends meals and wines. We had all starters, soup, lamb and octopus. All delicious! Not for budget travelers but worth every euro. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

Impressed, but perhaps we expected even more, based on our friends recommendations and the reviews here. The food was good but not exceptional. If we had not been so well cared for by Mario we might even been a bit disappointed. Mario's ability to make the guests feel good was remarkable, he answered every question, presented all ingredients carefully and... More

My wife and I went there during my 2 days stay in Porto. As we were staying in hotel carris porto ribeira, it just took me a 2-minutes walk to ODE. The atmosphere is romantic and the staff are friendly and professional. They were willing to give recommendation according to our preference and described us the ingredients of every dishes... More

If you are a foodie read on. If not, this may not be the place for you due to price and gourmet presentation. Dinner for two with great local wine for 106 euro. We booked in advance for a romantic table upstairs with a view. Well worth the planning ahead by two days. There are only two tables like this,... More

Blown away by the food and the service, I'd recommend this 100%. Every little detail, descriptions of ingredients from the waiters, great value for money. Wish we did this well every time we ate out! Thank you very much
