WELCOME. BIENVENUE. WILCOMEN. BIENVENIDOS. BENVENUTTI. After two years of hard work, you´ll find a homey and unique 19th century place, just in front of River Douro. Quiet, welcoming and rustic. Where wine and food are the excuse to forget the world, and to enjoy the moment. Tasting wines and eating excellent Portuguese food, in a relaxing environment, with selected music. Our aim is to make you feel at home. An open kitchen where we love what we do to whom we do. About 100 Portuguese wines (15 by the glass). A Wine and Grocery store where one can buy the best artisan jams and biscuits, as well as the wines in the list. Far from confusion, protected and exposed, we do an ODE to the Wine, to the city, and to the consumer.

I love this place.

So I had dinner here a couple of days ago. You arrive and the restaurant looks amazing. I'm talking wine bottles, port bottles, wine crates everywhere. Sit down and you get these amazing appetisers: butter flown in from the Azores; olive oil from both the north and south of Portugal so you can... read more

You certainly need to book for this very popular restaurant. Our hotel did this for us as we didn't want to miss out as we were celebrating a special anniversary. All the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. There are about five dishes to choose from for each course...... and even so it is difficult to decide. The food is... More

My cousin had talked this restaurant up, all the way from Australia.....she was not wrong. The meals were bigger than expected for an up market restaurant, and the staffs attention to detail was wonderful. Get a booking and go. So many people couldn't get in on the night we went.

An amazing restaurant. The staff were so helpful. The food was beyond excellent. My husband and I both had the fillet steak WOW. We are hoping to return before we leave Porto. Thanks again to all at Ode Porto Wine House. Adelaide and Jim Hall

Ode is exactly what you read everywhere: an amazing place in central Porto where you can eat wonderful and tasty food prepared at the moment (for that you have to relaxed, but we haven't wait too much). You must to go there. P.S: the secret sweet is... I don't know what is it but is delicious!

The restaurant is in a superb location close to the river, very intimate with first class service. Furnishings and decor very tasteful. The food was of excellent quality and if required the individual dishes on the menu were explained by the attentive staff. We both had starters and fillet steak for our main course which was cooked to perfection followed... More

We had a very romantic table next to the window with view on the Douro. The interior of the restaurant was great and suited the old part of Porto. The food and wine were excellent! (Excellent menu and wine menu). The waiters were very friendly and helpful. All in all a romantic and perfect dining experience especially for couples! Note that... More

Everything was perfect, the food, the wine and the service. This is what cooking is all about! Best restaurant of Porto without a doubt.

We came here for our anniversary dinner and had initially made the mistake of not booking. However, the front of house was incredibly wlecoming and promised us a table if we left it a couple of hours. On our return, we were greeted like long lost friends and were seated upstairs in the intimate dining area. The waiters were attentive... More

I was looking for some Portugal food that will make my visit to Porto memorable. I called last minute and was told the place was fully booked. However the owner tried his best to arrange a place for me. It was the most memorable food experience for me in Portugal.
