Went there but didn't try the chicken, instead I had the breaded sardines which were served with salad an a portion of white rice, all for less than 5 euros. The place was very nice and clean and the service was fast, staff is very attentive. I'd definitely will return to try the chicken with piri piri.

This is a local eatery famous for their roast chicken, large portions, at good value, and friendly service. We liked the chicken with piri-piri chilli oil with chips on side

We went here to eat some chicken and yes, for less than 9 euros we got a mountain of chicken and fries enough for two very hungry people. It's nothing fancy, just simple and delicious. Go there for the chicken, that's what the locals eat and it's good. Service was quite fast and helpful.

We were recomended this place 1st night by a shop operator and loved it so much we went back for our 3rd & last night! This is no 5 star haunt , just local people enjoying local food. It was slightly hard to find but were lucky to have hungry Brazilians with us. U enter and it seems like a... More

Not knowing much about portugal I expected to find lots of chicken shops in porto. After several days not finding any I googled chicken shops and found pedros dos frangos. when we arrived we were waved through and upstairs to find proper seating (not at the bar like downstairs). They had a menu in english but to be honest I... More

Great frango churrasco for a great price. Very typical portuguese food, frango churrasco. In 5 minutes you have your chicken barbecued and very tasty for 7/8 euros!

Not that nice from the outside, but great inside! Kind staff, english menu (very useful indeed!) and cheap dishes. We tried chicken, fish and desserts and everithing was good. Will definitely eat here again!

It would be interesting to know!we went there and, besides the fact that none of the waiter could speak english (after a week inPortugal I learned to accept that...)they were a bit cold and unfriendly.First we ordered bacalhau (cod), which was way too salty, a sign that they didn't take the right time to make it properly. My girlfriend ordered quejo and,... It's a good sign when the restaurant has 3 floors, and they opened restaurant #2 across the street. We had the grilled sardines - a Portugeuse favorite - us, not so much as there were too many little fine bones for our taste. Too much work. Otherwise, the Portugeuse BBQ chicken, the veal, grilled octopus, was excellent! The tripe was,... More

The name says it all: go here to experience barbecue chicken in diner-style restaurant. It is very popular with locals, so you may be required to wait for a seat - however there is additional seating upstairs spread over two floors. The chicken is available in two varieties (regular and picante - spicy) although picante is not excessively hot. Either... More
