Nice views across the river but food only average.

A good location but average food. One of a string of restaurants across the north bank of the river with waiters hovering outside to encourage you in.

It's the first dinning in my Porto trip, sure we choose the local famous dish -- tripe. Peza Arror served us a very tasty dishes with very friendly staffs, it's the festival of St. John, everyone so cheerful and enjoyed the fun of crowded at riverside, the restaurant provided outdoor tables with lots variety in menu, very economic price we... Tonight we decided to go for atmosphere and a lighter meal. The atmosphere was here in abundance with street entertainers and groups of people having a good time. We hadn't read the reviews beforehand but decided to stop here. My partner ordered swordfish and I ordered hake with rice and beans, a fairly typical meal. We were presented with little... More

The food was bad enough to remind me of my university's canteen at its worst. The octopus fillet I had had was saltless and wrapped in the egg roll without first drying, and so you had a watery tasteless mass coming out every time you cut through the egg roll, which tasted too much to rancid oil. The rice that... More

Looking for a place to eat I was walking along the Ribeira. someone have told me that the food is more expensive in the Ribeira zone. Of course it is, as you eat looking at the Douro river flowing, the rabelo boats floating and the birds flying. The food was very nice and the service was friendly.

OK food OK service, great place to watch the world go by I need to say I love Porto, and I love sitting in the cafe’s come restaurants looking out over the river and watching the world go by. I can forgive a fair bit for that alone. Pena Arroz is ok except the toilet, go before you get there,... More

Tourist trap. Frozen fish. Dirty. They should close it. The food tasted bad, ingredients of bad quality and staff that care nothing about questions or complains. Tip: avoid the restaurants in this street.

Simply bad and a tourist trap. Prices and choice looked fine, and enough people were eating already. Quickly we noticed that people were complaining about bad food and bad service and we noticed it a bit later ourself. The food tasted bad, ingredients of bad quality and staff that care nothing about questions or complains. Tip: avoid the restaurants in... More
