Typical tourist spot on the river, at least not crazy prices. Food was edible but nothing super special. Safe to eat but kind of fast food-ish.

I ate here with my friend a few days ago. Luckily, I ate before so I was not that hungry. We sat down and the waiter rushed by and put an array of olives, breaded and fried crab, and bread and cheese saying "you only pay for what you eat". Well when you're hungry it's hard not to eat food... More

Arriving on the "Ribeirinha" de Porto after our walk, we made a stop over before we went to visit the Port Wine Cellars into the restaurant "Pezo Arroz". They speak several languages, are friendly and the price quality is ok, and you are on the border from the Douro river, you have the choice th have a seat on the... More

We thought it would be a nice place to sit and watch the douro river. I ordered a glass of wine, i got a 0,5 liter bottle (they only served bottles). My partner ordered a small beer and got 0.5 liter. This was all very expensive. The food was simply terrible. I ordered fried calamaris, i got baked pieces of... More

Tourist trap. No other explanation. It was getting late and they had indoor seating. Only one other table occupied outside. We should have taken the hints. Staff more interested in smoke breaks than service. Food was just plain bad. Looked slopped together and thrown on a plate as fast as possible. The cod cakes served as an appetizer plate were... We went here looking for some local food. It was raining and we had a little dog with us and they were extremely accommodating! They even gave the dog a flease as he was shivering. The food was lovely and homestyle, we had cabbage broth to start which was tasty and warming on such a chilly day. My mum then... More

Enjoyed both a lunch and a dinner during our stay in Porto. Meals were very good and the service was excellent. It's not fine dining but authentic local food with a beautiful view of the river. PS my wife does not like fish but loved their hake and chips!

Have been at Peza Arroz for the second time and had the typicall dish from Porto "Francesinha" and it was very tasty and price was only 8 Euros. Staff pleasent and attentive and kitchen staff was very kind making us a great meal, and as a compensation i decided to offer them a drink. View from the restaurant is facing... More

I wasn't planning to go to this place, but ended up there by a mistake. I actually wanted to go to the place next door - filha da mae preta, but the menu sign of that place was sort of slightly in front of a table of this, so I ended up in this.. brr.. should have better gone to... More

The restaurant is conveniently located along the Douro river, in the centre of Porto. If the weather is nice, and you can manage to sit outside, the view is beautiful. There is a room inside, upstairs, which is however quite claustrophobic: avoid it if possible. It looks like a purely tourist place, with translated menus. They serve typical Portoguese food:...
