QA very enjoyable evening at O Paparico. Tables emaculately laid with a welcoming selection of starters. Certainly presents itself as a high quality Portuguese home entertaining guests for dinner. The Veal with mushrooms was delicious! Do not be put off by the distance of this Restuarant from the centre of Porto, well worth the taxi fare. For a high quality... More

Drink a smoked rosemary gin tonic by the cozy fireplace and prepare yourself for a great meal! Excellent service, great food, dimmed light, stone walls and romantic.

We celebrated our 24th anniversary at O Paparico. Understated but very thorough and attentive service complemented a really wonderful meal. I cannot think of a single flaw in the evening (except the cab driver wanting to drop us off next door... I expected that and made him stick around until we had found the place, with the help of a... The restaurant is a 10 euro taxi fare from the old port area but definitely worth the trip. On the night we went I think we were the only tourists in a full house. The staff have good English skills and service was both professional and friendly. The food was excellent and I would rank this restaurant number 1 from... More

Best service I have ever experienced. Starters were incredible, and the rest of the food was great too. Nice atmosphere. Amazing value & I recommend.

This little gem of restaurant has to be booked 1 month before. Its a good taxi ride out of Porto old town - about 13 euros worth and it would be almost impossible to find unless you looked hard on this dimly lit street. Inside is a beautifully appointed waiting and table area - all old Granite stone walls, and... More

One of the best restarurants I have been to! The people are amazingly friendly, the food is very tasty and the service very good. I have to say the best experience was the wine, very classy portugese wine that makes the experience better. All in all, an amazing experince! A must try in Porto!
