Paparico is sort of hidden in the suburban outskirts of Porto... If you are not familiar with the area, take a cab or make sure your GPS is working before you attempt to drive there. Don't expect a big sign and grand entrance... look for a door with a knocker at the address you will get when you make reservations.... More

This is one of the finest restaurants in Porto. A mix of traditional and modern with very good food, a splendid wine chart (even if some items are missing...), and a warm welcome from the staff, very attentive, all the way through the dinner. This is really an experience to repeat.

Thanks to other reviewers we knew to expect no signage outside but to be fair there is a menu and opening hours next to the door so we knew we were in the right place. We arrived a bit early but were made to feel welcome and given a glass of lemon water and then asked if we would like... More

The menu is made of items to share. This isn't tapas. This isn't family style. This is sharing style. The food is amazing, I don't say that lightly, the precision of each dish is amazing. Cured meats that go beyond the normal Jamon. Entrees that leave you wanting to lick the plate. What is really nice though is a very... More

I have been lucky enough to visit this restaurant 3 times over the last couple of years and every time it has been simply fantastic. The food is always excellent and it is matched by the flawless service. It is the best reason to visit Porto.

What an experience to remember! My friend made the reservation before we left the states and when we arrived at the hotel, the concierge said it was the absolute top place for dinner in Porto. The cab driver also confirmed the selection and when we arrived at a very unassuming street and front door, I was unsure. The restaurant is... More

Nice and relaxed atmosphere. This restaurant staff speak also fluent english and they try to make everything to make sure that you have enjoy your evening. One of the best things thst they also understand is special dietaries. This is good restaurant, not cheap but not too expensive either.

Went here to celebrate engagement. It is the best service we have ever had. It is some of the best good we have ever had. It is authentic Portuguese. I cannot rate highly enough. It was absolutely incredible. Only negative is that we didn't leave enough room for dessert and it's 4/5km out of the main town, but it's definitely... More

Four of us dined at O Paparico on 24th May 2014. First of all I must say that the food was of a very high standard with one notable exception (which I will come to later). The service was top notch and the staff were very friendly. From the moment we arrived we were attended to and nothing was too... More
