Description: “Pedro Lemos” is one of Oporto’s most renowned restaurants. The chef ’s originality stands in a pleasantlysurprising contrast to the typical Portuguese flavors,so as to present the clients with unique and unforgettableculinary experiences, turning each meal into an“urban safari”. Located in Foz, one of Oporto’s mostbeautiful and emblematic historical neighborhoods, therestaurant’s venue is a building deemed of architecturalsignificance. It was first inaugurated in 1964 as a Britishinspiredpub that became a place of choice of that time’selites. At Pedro Lemos you can explore different spacesand ambiances, always exquisite and comfortable. The specialty of the restaurant are the seasonal tasting menus. The wine selection is carefully sourced, the service is impeccable.

Delighted that I have chosen this restaurant for celebrating my friend birthday You wouldn’t expect to find such a nice restaurant hidden on one of the small, narrowed streets of Porto. Nice atmosphere, romantic I would say. We had a table on the terrace and we enjoyed a 4 course meal. You have the option to pay an extra (10... More

Little did we know when we got chatting to Pedro at a different restaurant that he was a top chef! After he left, the waitress told us his secret and we decided to check out his restaurant in Foz for my birthday. Having spent the whole day on the beach we weren't really attired for fine dining, but Pedro made... More

We went to a small wonderful italian restaurant nearby, so we decided to search a bit more in Foz. We heard that this restaurant belongs to a well known Chef so there we went. Lovely room, very beautiful in every aspect, the food is excellent but it is extremely expensive! We got out with empty pockets, still feeling hungry...... this... More

We had the seven course menu with wine pairing. Pedro Lemos makes a point of using local ingredients and flavors, which in Porto leaves room for lots of variety. Each dish was a combination of intense flavors and fun consistencies. Everything from the fish through to the meat and vegetables was cooked perfectly. The desserts were refined and delicious. This restaurant is a hidden gem in the narrow streets of Foz. Food is exceptional and the knowledge of wines and port second to none. I have nothing bad to say. The amuse bouche of salted cod cake with a fried quail egg, the most amazingly detailed preparation of a gin & tonic and the wine recommendation made the whole... More

We read all the tip advisor reviews & I would have to say they undersold this restaurant. The food may not be as innovative as Azak but the attention to detail & flavours were up there. We had 4 courses,1st red mullet with cuttlefish cut into cubes, 2nd tuna ,2 large cubes grilled with the centre rare , 3rd black... More

The food at this restaurant is very good, just as good as some of the top restaurants in London. The service is amazing and would definitely go back again!

We chose this restaurant over the one MIchelin-starred restaurant in the Yeatman (where we were staying), and we were very glad we did. The food here was very good, grounded in traditional Portugese cooking, but with a little flair. The wine pairings were excellent. This is a young team -- but they've got ambition, and they are creative without over... More

Food was outstanding. It was fresh, innovative and beautifully presented. We were greeted graciously. Meal well timed but wine service spoilt the experience somewhat. Wine was not topped up New bottle ordered but did not arrive until we were almost finished our main. Wine waiter a bit precious. No notice was taken of keeping water up to the table.
