Description: “Pedro Lemos” is one of Oporto’s most renowned restaurants. The chef ’s originality stands in a pleasantlysurprising contrast to the typical Portuguese flavors,so as to present the clients with unique and unforgettableculinary experiences, turning each meal into an“urban safari”. Located in Foz, one of Oporto’s mostbeautiful and emblematic historical neighborhoods, therestaurant’s venue is a building deemed of architecturalsignificance. It was first inaugurated in 1964 as a Britishinspiredpub that became a place of choice of that time’selites. At Pedro Lemos you can explore different spacesand ambiances, always exquisite and comfortable. The specialty of the restaurant are the seasonal tasting menus. The wine selection is carefully sourced, the service is impeccable.

Great food, atmosphere, service and good value for what should have one if not two Michelin stars. Muito obrigado to the team.

The dinner at Pedro Lemos (20140725) was an great experience to remember. We (six family members) chose the five courses menue, but made different choises of the individual dishes. All dishes were well composed, prepared and presented. We are happy we found this great restaurant, it is not a place you find by chance, and we will come back for... More

Our B&B recommended this restaurant, informing us before booking that it was a little expensive.Yes, it was a little expensive; but well worth it. We dined upstairs in the outdoor setting which was lovely; the service was incredible (have never had such attention to detail ), the food was delicious ,small portions but by the time we had finished our 3... Great food in Portugal can turn out to be an issue if you come like me from Northern Europe. Most of the time I feel that the food over here lacks some seasoning. Well I can tell you very much not so with Pedro Lemos' kitchen. His beautiful restaurant is hidden near the shores of Porto and once you ve... More

The kitchen and the dishes of this restaurant are - due to the high price-level - reasonable. But unfortunately not more. The staff is "over-active", you don´t feel any privacy and they are always around you with a sort of penetrative pressure. They tried to fool us with the wine (offering a half glass for a try and then charging... More

Portuguese cuisine is prepared by one of Portugal's best here on meaning very best chefs. The dishes are refined and purely prepared. The setting is both attractive and elegant. An absolute must for a delicious intimate dinner.

I really liked this restaurant and I think it deserves a Michelin sign. Maybe not a star yet, because there was an egg at the menu that was not available (it was Sunday in Portugal, we can comprehend a few things...) and because the service was 99% but not 100%. But the food and the desserts compensate these very small... More

We were staying in Foz area of Oporto and while walking along the tiny old lanes we discovered this restaurant. It was buzzing and certainly appeared to be "the place to be seen"! We were walking by on another evening and the restaurant was just opening at 7.30pm and were lucky enough to get a table. The Head Waiter/Sommelier was... More

All meals for dinner are based on a priced fix menu, that is quite reasonable give the quality. We paid 177 Euros including wine pairings, two apertifs, and tip for the shorter menu. The desserts were the best course, in fact the best desserts we had on the trip, topping those at Arzack, a three star Michelin in San Sebastian,... More

We visited this outstanding restaurant on our third evening in Porto and we were so impressed that we returned the next evening, our last. We had the three course menu with paired wines. Before the starter we were delighted first by a white port cocktail, followed by two 'amuse bouches'. Between the main and the dessert we were presented with... More
