Best meal while in Portugal

Had an absolutely superb meal here. The restaurant is cool and modern, the service excellent and warm. The crowd includes both well heeled locals and tourists. (Note: the restaurant is not in the city center but in an upscale residential neighborhood a short taxi ride away.) There are several... read more

We arrived and got seated outside on the terrace. Beautiful setting and delicious food. The wine was very good too. The service was outstanding and very friendly staff. Amazing night in Porto. I definitely recommend it!!!

Pedro Lemos is one of two restaurants in Porto that holds a Michelin Star (the other one is located within the Yeatman hotel). Note that Pedro Lemos is not located in the historic center of Porto (where for example the Intercontinental Hotel is), but on the seaside. So you either need to take a taxi (which should take about 15... More

We went there for dinner on my birthday. It was a wonderful meal and a great moment: beautiful place, a very kind service, delicious and surprising food and a very good atmosphere. At the end of the meal, as the waitor accidentally realized it was my birthday, he brought me a little, carefully decorated and delicious birthday cake. Lovely, really!... More

We had a really good time with ly husband, first time during our vacation that we took time for dinner! The service was very helpful and we enjoyed our food. We got the menu with 4 dishes (80€). We specially loved the foie gras apetizer, the lobster and the red fruits dessert. Well, we liked everything but these were the... More

We'd done a bit of research to identify a classy Porto restaurant for our last night in the city and we weren't disappointed by Pedro Lemos. After experiencing the famously heavy Porto cuisine at a few places (great stuff - but there's only so many francesinhas we could take), this was a relief - classy, stylish food in a lovely... More

All courses in our tasting menu were superbly executed, with the right balance of references to local tradition and twists of contemporary interpretation. All wine pairings were well chosen and explained. Most of all, staff were unbelievably helpful and managed to let us have the full tasting experience in a dedicated room so that we could calm down our child... More

Pedro Lemos is a very good restaurant. The food is excellent and beautifully presented as I expected for a Michelin star restaurant. Very good wine list. No atmosphere though (but I was here for the food, so didn't disturbed me but did my partner). Very Good service.

We judge our food experiences by what dishes we remember most on the long journey back to Australia. We ate a lot in 2 weeks, from simple mind blowing dishes in the markets to Michelin star misses, to extraordinary highs. For both of us, Pedro Lemos had the most memorable dishes in our food memory banks. Nothing outrageous or ground... More

Had a few hit and miss experiences recently in starred restaurants (a few misses in a row) but this was superb from start to end. I would recommend it without hesitation, and genuinely could not think of one element that wasn't spot on: the service, the relaxed atmosphere, and of course critically the food. Every course was excellent, and the... More
