O Cacula's situated in a prime location near the city centre, near the Torre dos Clerigos and the Natural History Museum. It's none too big but that's usually were you find the best eating spots in a city especially if you're keeping a keen eye on your expenses. Even though there are cheaper restaurants in the area, the quality and... More

We had a very nice, maybe almost romantic dinner, at the table next to the hard working pizza baker. We really felt like having pizza that night, so when we saw this restaurant has an actual wood oven , we didn't hesitate and walked in. The menu looks promising. The wines per glass and bottle from cheap to moderately priced.... More

My wife and I were staying 3 doors down from this restaurant and kept walking by it for several nights. Finally we decided to try it and couldn't have been happier. Very helpful staff in recommending dishes, everything we had was really nice. The appetizers we had could have been split between two people. This isn't the place to get... More

Excellent service in a lovely environment, well-located in the city centre of Porto. We chose this restaurant as we had family over from the UK and felt that the menu offers a broad range of cuisine. They arranged a separate space for us as non-smokers on the 2nd floor, as aside from the ground floor, the rest of the restaurant... More

Near to our lodging and very well located on a busy plaza with plenty of people watching, O Cacula grabbed our attention for dinner our first night in town. A table was available on the terrace, we sat down and had a very pleasant meal that was a nice change from the more usual Portuguese fare. We shared a very... More

Chose this place for a late dinner after a long search / wander around town for somewhere to eat. Its in a quieter location away from the busy center so no views of the river, but the location & atmosphere were very pleasant nonetheless. Sat outside to enjoy the evening. We were a little bit disappointed with our pizzas, we'd... More

In a busy place in hert of porto, this cosy restaurant is a very good choice. A long list of food and drinks it enables a new experience. The francesinha made with pizza dough is different yet enjoyable one.. Pizzas and steaks are also a good choice..

We were recommended by our accommodation provided who also booked for us, so we did not expect to be on the middle table on the top floor, away from the atmosphere on the ground floor. Fish was partically uncooked, vegetables very chewy, service off-hand and wrong items served.
