For 3 we had one onion soup and one novilho al oporto each plus desert and one ottle of quinta do carmo wine for 110. Perhaps a bit more of salt would be good. Tasty food.

Rusttic and tasteful local food, interesting setting (we were sitting inside), central location, very helpful staff. Worth visiting, but do not expect any luxury. Hint : portions are quite big, consider sharing - it's common practice.

Tasteful food, good choice of wines, central location at Ribeira section not far from the river, unusual decoration - yes, there's a live rabbit in a cage. No luxury, service small toilets on 1st floor. Take your time, service is friendly but not very fast, especially at lunch.

Rustic and tasty food. Charming staff. Quite simply it's good. Would come again if we found ourselves in town.

There weren't many places open on December 25, we found this one and we gave it a shot without looking at the menu before. The place is cozy and the waiters were very polite, speaking English and Spanish at least. We thought the food was a little more expensive than other places we've been to, but since there weren't many... More

We went to Chez Lapin as it had fire heaters outside and shelter from the rain but after ordering, i wish i'd picked another restaurant along the same strip. The heater died on us and so after explaining that to our waiter (who didn't seem to understand anything we were saying), we spoke to another waiter (lovely guy) who relocated... More

From two visits in the last 3 months, both were happy and memorable experiences. This little gem among the more tourist trap appearences close to the river does not bear it's name in vain. At the first visit we started with mussels and then the signature dish oven-baked Rabbit, both were delicious, wild rabbits not on every menu one looks... More

A lovely atmosphere at this restaurant, we sat outside so we could people watch and have a view over the river as well as the lights of all the port houses and old monastery. There were different rooms to sit in though if you didn't want to be outside as it did get a little chilly! We started with mussels... More

Never have I eaten a Vegetable soup that was better than my own mothers. This restaurant proved me wrong! Delicious food, amazing service and intriguing decor to go with it. Honestly, what better than to have dinner with your other half with a good glass of wine facing the alluring Ribeira and scenery? Loved it so much, unfortunately last time... More
