I had a dinner here attracted by the nice tables outside with a view on the Douro: nothing to say on the position, which is perfect. Unfortunately there is very few choice for vegeterian people and I found myself eating a meal I didn't like, way too expensive. I guess it was an isolated case but... read more

Had a really good dinner here. The food is baked in small dishes making it feel like you're eating at "mom's" house. Would definitely go back. No problem with service.

We had very heavy rain, and we're staying adjacent so walking out to eat not really optional, so we ate here twice . Food was good, service ok and friendly , wine recommendation good, and reasonably priced. We like the cool so sat outside each time. On our last day, we had a long lunch and again enjoyed the seafood... More

My family and I went for one day to Oporto, at night we stop by this restaurant. At first I thought it was going to be hard to get a table because there is no reception and you just have to wait for any of the waiters to ask you how big is your party so they can get you... More

Ordered the Rabbit, whist waiting to arrive a nice touch, of generous serve of a Cod paste with several different types of bread with two gasses of local wine, a Red & White, all complementary !!! The Rabbit, beautifully braised in an earthenware pot, was just like Mum cooked 65 years ago, wonderful!!! Very pleasant staff. Most enjoyable dinner

Even if it is a touristic place, i really recommend it... my boyfriend and I ordered rabbit a chez lapin and cow with garlic sauce. I appreciated the fact that the waiter brought us porto liquor while we were waiting for food. Mango cream was also delicious! highly recommended

I had dinner at Chez Lapin on Christmas Day, and it as one of the very few restaurants open that night in the Ribeira area. Maybe that was the reason the place was so crowded and the waiters were overwhelmed. On the other hand, the night was beautiful, there was a full moon and an incredible view of the Luis... More

Friendly staff and very good food. Large doses, a bit on the pricey side, but not excessively. We were greeted in Spanish, which is not particularly pleasant when you're a Portuguese citizen trying to have dinner in Portugal.

The food was OK. Rabbit was not very nice but fish was edible. Restaurant itself is cute and quirky. Staff were very busy but some made you feel like it was your fault for even being there. Some were very nice. Would not go there again anytime soon as better options in Porto
