This restaurant was recommended by the hotel owner. It was very busy in Porto that day. I can't say the food impressed us a lot. The food was not served at the same time, so some of our friends had to wait while other were finishing eating. On top of that some dishes were sent back because it was raw.... More

The soup was cold and the food had no flavor at all. This was really strange considering the number of stars in Trip Advisor

We were the only diners tonight by 8:30pm when we finished dining. We had the sea bass which was smothered in onions, cabbage, and something green-made finding the bones more difficult. Fish swimming in lots of oil. Also came with shredded carrots and the usual boiled/roasted potatoes. Perhaps the reviews of late have turned people away-we would not go back!!

Not a bad choice if you are wanting to eat in the touristy part of Porto down by the river. Husband's sardines were very good but my meat dish (Chef's steak - with cheese on top in a sauce) was really only average. Otherwise might have given an excellent. Portion sizes as ever in Porto were generous and the service... More

We were referred to this restaurant as it was our first night in Porto. I am so glad we tracked it down ... The Manager and Staff could not have offered us a better experience right from the moment we walked though the door. The suggested local red wine was as good as I have ever tasted and the dishes... We decided to have lunch there on our arrival to OPorto (based on TA ratings) and we were not disappointed!!! Restaurant is set in a quiet alley which runs parallel to the river (just one block up from the main walkway along the river). The fish and squid dishes we tried were very good. The squid was very tender, but... More

The restaurant is fairly cosy and the staff were pleasant but the food was only average. The seafood rice was quite tasteless compared to others I tried in Portugal. There are better places to eat in porto for a similar price. Jimao Tapas e vinhos, which is just around the corner, is excellent.

We stumbled into this place because it looked quite busy and people coming looked satisfied. Starters were nice, main was as well good. We did skip the desert. Maybe not the best p[lace to eat in Porto, but good value for money and worth a visit.

We had dinner there recently on the recommendation of our hotel. The fish dishes were dry and servings meager. The beef (if that's what it was) was nothing short of disgusting. Even the bread was lousy. Find somewhere else to eat!

Unfortunately we were disappointed with this restaurant. It is set in a lovely little alley with a number of other restaurants and based on reviews we thought it was worth a shot. They were not too welcoming, and only after we had sat and ordered wine, did they inform us to order right away as the kitchen was closing, something... More
