Food was good but we got scammed

We asked what was included in the menu of the day and the waiter said "everything." When he brought bread and butter and olives and dried ham-none of which we ordered-before the entree we assumed this was the appetizer part of the day's menu and ate it, as we were hungry. We got charged extra for... read more

This Restaurant is an absolute disgrace, putting to shame the tradition of great Portuguese restaurants. From the outside it looked promising, a nice location and well decorated venue. Problems started once we decided to actually have a meal in. Waiters walked by us, ( a party of 6 ) like we didn't exist, took them a while to actually acknowledge... More

We had an excellent meal on the terrace (we were lucky enough to arrive early enough to get a good table before the retaurant got busy) overlooking the main street of Lamego. The staff were very helpful and supplied a menu in English, which was a bonus, and the food was traditional, unfancy and well cooked. The only potential drawback is... More

Great small restaurant with regional food and a stunning outdoor. Love to eat there on sunny days. It has daily menu and some classics, like piglet, and grilled fish. Very good deserts like tiramissu.

We would not have found this one without the Lonely Planet Portugal guide as it's on the second floor so you need to know, but it's great Food, great value and overlooking Lamego. Well Worth it to spend some extra time in the lounge area to enjoy Your vino verde.

..but the list of good things nearly ends here. The food is below average, the mixd salad was the best, but it was drained in majonaise (they are serving it with tuna). Can't cook/grill meat properly and a bad meat quality, loose/loose situation. As others said, all was drenched in oil, and not the best quality (again). Wine was ok,... More

We had just completed the trek up and down all the stairs to the cathedral and were very hungry when we happend on Se Crisita...located up a steep flight of stairs! It was late for lunch but we were welcomed and had a very enjoyable meal with attentive service.

but really quite disapointing. I live in Portugal so I know about portuguese food and in that case the quality was really average and the service also (tried to charge us item we hadn't had).

The title above is double. We had not much choice but going there as it was the only restaurant which seemed to be open that night (Portugal was playing football). But there was also not much choice when choosing our main course. If there were 5 fish plates on the menu, only 1 or 2 were really available. There was... More

The food is all very greasy, mainly drenched in olive oil, but they have a good selection of tasty and local meat dishes. Only for people who can digest easily. The main room is traditional and simple and yet fine. Service was good and nice, although being the only customers in the restaurant, it couldn't have been much different. Prices... More
