An amazing restaurant in the centre of Bragança, extremely well located, in a beautiful old house with a very tasty old style decoration and wonderful food! For me the best restaurant in Bragança and definitely worth the visit!!!

Fantastic atmosphere! As you enter the restaurant (it is located on the first floor of an old building in the city centre) the first thing you see are tables with hundreds of books and magazines. You can sit next to the fireplace, enjoy your welcome during and have a chat with the owners, Sr. Desiderio and his wife, Ana Maria,... More

There was once a big noble family house in middle of town. Then came 20th century and 21st... the house is there, the noblesse is also there, the traditional way of receiving gests is there; but it's a restaurant. Wonderfull old traditional Portuguese food. Wonderfull windes. Wonderfull place: you feel beeing in the late 19th century, with Mozart as soundscape,... More

Possibly the best meal during our time in Portugal. Delicious game meals (note: large portion sizes), served in a wonderful atmosphere with the restaurant housed in an old building furnished accordingly. We were treated to live music, complementary champagne/tapas/port wine and attentive service, the only criticism I would have was the wait for our food -but it was worth it.

An older, slightly worn establishment, I was made to feel special. On both occasions I was treated as though I had been coming for years. And the food on both occasions was excellent.

Real traditional food, very well made and with a fantastic and friendly service. The owners are always nearby even with a full house as was the case. I was there with my kids and we really enjoyed dinner. Caution with the size of the portions. They are huge.

Very good food and wine, proudly regional. A great range of game dishes; you will not go hungry. Extremely friendly service. What more do you want?

We were 5 adults and 4 lively small children. Arrived with no reservation and were immediately welcomed to two tables in their shaded garden which, on a hot day was just fantastic. The service was superb and all needs were attended quickly in a considerate and friendly manner. Our children left their plates empty which is a rare event: the... More

My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children ages 6 and 9) from the USA stumbled upon this treasure in our one night visit to Braganca. We were a tad early for dinner in the town at 6:30pm as the streets and restaurants were empty and we wondered where everyone was! We saw later that Church was in session... More
