We found ourselves unexpectedly staying in Braga for the day and, when passing this restaurant, were drawn in by the relaxed ambience. It was a Saturday so we had to make a reservation but the wait was relatively short. When we arrived, the table was set and appetisers were provided. The waiter that was mainly responsible for our meal spoke... More

This restaurant was one of 2 restaurants that came highly recommended by our hotel. Not many people were in the restaurant when we arrived, very welcoming reception. We choose for the local specialty Bakeljau (fish). The four of us found it to be delicious, but unfortunately the charcoal grilled fish was a bit "too dark" (black) on the down side.... More

If you are in town, visit this place and come early ( 7:30 pm). Food is excellent (Bacalhao), not too expensive (around 13 EUR), very big portions, service is extremly warm and friendly, wine is great (10 EUR for a bottle in a place with Michelin recommendation is exceptional I guess). However, dessert isn'nt the best, but absolutely okay for... More

Food is tasty but price quality we were disappointed as we started by unasked for €20 starters. It looks and want to play chique but seems to be non genuine

Cozinha da Se is a lovely, intimate restaurant serving delicious Portuguese cusine with a contemporary flair. The atmosphere is elegant, cozy and lively (but not noisy). Exposed stone walls, table cloths, and comfortable chairs add to the experience. Service is attentive but not overbearing. My husband and I both had seafood, which was fresh, beautifully prepared and attractively presented. The... More

Friendly service, splendid food, relaxing environment. They have eye for details (straws for the kids big fresh orange juice), and the portions are, well, Portugese ;)

Reliably excellent food and a very high standard of service overall. My husband and I often choose Cozinha da Se, whether it be for date night, get-togethers with friends, business dinners, or entertaining out-of-town guests. Make reservations to avoid disappointment!

Although we searched for a restaurant called Braga de Se, it was not hard to found. At 7.30u we made a reservation for 8.30u which really is necessary. We got a welcome drink and shake hands when we left. Really good food and a very nice restaurant. Just very close to the wonderful Sé de Braga.

While in a new city we always look for the local nr 1 rated by TA. This time was no exception. We manage to get a table by a reservation (advisable). Very nice staff with some "aperitivo" to start with. A delicious octopus salad as started and then a grilled Robalo (sea-bass) and a bacalhau both excellent. A well deserved... More
