In the land of Archbishops and the edge of the Cathedral is a house that lives differently day and night. Restaurant during mealtimes, turns into a bar with live music the night away. The decor is a mix of various styles and eras, beginning with the ancient stone walls, contrasting with modern lamps and bold, colorful paintings as well as contemporary art. In the table, the art goes through dishes like feijoada octopus, cod and skewered with bread sticks bull laurel.

This restaurant was just around the corner from where we were staying and based on the previous reviews we went for dinner one night. You are welcomed with a complimentary drink and bread/olives on the table (which you are charged for). I had the chicken and my wife the dourada. Both dishes were just OK - the chicken was dry... Located just downhill from the cathedral, near the Arco de Puerto Nova, this restaurant offers a fine dining experience for a very reasonable price. Service was attentive and professional, the ambience is pleasant and the food was first class. The starters were the highlight for me. We shared Mussels in Green Gravy, steaming hot clams and an amazingly good game... More

This place is definitely worthy a visit. Service was great, portions were really big and the bacalao fish was best I've ever ate. Just for such a quality of food and service it was worthy to come to Braga from Porto

We were a family of eight; the reservation was perfectly handled and the setting upon arrival was timely and efficient. The food ranged from very good to excellent, depending on the course. There is room for improvement in the waiting time to be served after w ordered - it took a lot. However, it is a good value for money:... More

Love this place. We return every year. Amazing, local food. Nice decor, with art hanging on the beautiful, stone walls. Great location. The service is prompt and friendly. For us Brits one of the few places in Braga where the menu is translated and the staff are more than happy help out too. Richardo the owner / manager speaks great... More

This is a very well-known and very popular restaurant and for good reason -- the food is excellent and surprisingly good value. But if you don't have reservations, you probably won't get in unless you arrive 15 minutes before the restaurant opens for dinner. My wife and I had been forewarned and showed up before opening and there was a... More

Absolutely delicious and ridiculously affordable. I dont usually gush this much but it's amazing. Warning- have a reservation. Thy were turning away people all night without reservations. Come with one in hand. The food is just really, really good. It seems simple but it's amazing. When I found out the meal with wine cost as much as it would have... More
