Art Deco Spectacular

Great place for a coffee and cake. Full of locals having a chat and a quick coffee, or a coffee and a longer chat. Not to be missed.

This venerable coffee bar has been catering for the citizens of Braga since 1907. There's an awful lot of gold relief around and it's all very formal but it's a great spot for people watching and the coffee's great.

Great simple salad here! Enjoyed the service, location, and meal. Worth a try when in the square. Uncomplicated menu. Liked seeing a mix of locals and tourists.

This was the recommended stop from out tour guide on our recent visit to Braga. Lots of pastries on offer, the beer was cold and the coffee was pretty good. Quite a classic café with tables and chairs spilling out into the street, busy, pretty but let down slightly by the toilets, these need some work on.

This place is a must go if you go to Braga. It was a super sunny day and we sat outside and just spent a few hours having some wine! Very nice atmosphere!

This place is located right in the middle of Braga. This is a great place to sit and relax with a drink looking on all passers by. This is a most well-visited place in Braga. The waitress are just great and the service is excellent. Even if you are hungry just before midnight, take one of the salads - they... More

A must go if you are visiting Braga. Located in the city center. Ask for the famous Café de saco. Love to stay inside on the rainy days. Stay outside and observe, even for a few minutes, the movement of the people on the streets.

The place is terrifically well located and if you are into Modernism or Art Nouveau at all you cannot miss this chance. The atmosphere inside is really nice and the decor, though a bit sober for its period is delicious.
