We were welcomed at the door with a glass of madeira wine and shown to our table by a friendly waiter on the two occasions we had dinner in this restaurant. The food was well presented and delicious. We enjoyed the mixed group grilled fish on the first night, and on second night we had limpets and prawns for starter... More

Service was very rushed, at least the waiter rushed a lot. Don't know why as there was hardly anyone in. Food was alright but nothing special. We asked for the desert menu and were brought a couple of cakes. The cheese cake was not very pleasant. On the way out we passed a display of much better looking deserts.

Summertime is a smaller restaurant with a terrace option situated, more or less, next door to the awful Grannys. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and given a sizeable glass of free Madeira wine!! Always a good start. Initially we were given the full menu but when we asked for the tourist version, unlike Antonios, Chanceller and Grannys we... More

Do not eat any seafood here unless you want to get sick. It's not fresh. Small portions. Can't recommend.

A tourist restaurant. The wine was poor, the meals had grand titles but not the correct ingredients. Service was slow and only speeded up when we proceeded to leave at the end of one course - they then took our payment - not particularly cheap as it should have been. We wished we'd walked back to a fish restaurant we'd... More

Set with views overlooking sea and staff were friendly ( but were all men so no sign of sour faced waitress spoken about in other reviews). My good lady had the skewered meat and I had lasagne. Both very enjoyable and well prepared and served. Wait was fine so we had an enjoyable night. There is better but we have... More

Have eaten in this restaurant many times always pleasant however it let us down this time. I ordered swordfish and did enquire if it was available as not all restaurants have it on a regular basis, I had a tongue in check reply from the waiter to the effect he would send someone out to sea to get me some... The menu in this restaurant looked really good but unfortunately the food was very disappointing. My husband ordered filet steak and what came certainly was not fillet. He asked for it medium rare and it came cremated and very tough
