Were attracted in by the superb location overlooking the harbour and the promise of beer brewed on the premises. Service unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. Staff seemed fairly surly and disorganised (despite there being plenty of them and the place not being busy at the time). We were given some menus by one member of staff then had to... More

Been to the Beerhouse restaurant many times over the years. Good value for money meals, The steak sandwich, followed by home made passion fruit pudding (to die for) This year we notice they had changed the seating for comfortable white cane chairs with purple cushions, made all the difference to the comfort of eating there. The chairs before left a... More

Nice unfiltered beer. Good food. Near small harbour males everything very relaxing. A must go there to drink a beer or to get a cup of coffee.

This is a great location to stop for lunch or an early evening beer. They brew their own Wheat Beer here in a true German style. If cloudy Wheat Beer is to your liking then you'll enjoy it here. If not they do also serve the local Coral which is pretty much the only draught beer available in every other... More

Both options my husband tried to order were not available; the grilled meats were good, and the beer was fantastic, but something we both ate made us ill the next couple of days. Quiet during dinner, but very popular with lunch crowds, and a great location.

Excellent idea to have a seasonal bar at the the road end of the pier very handy for standing at a proper little bar and having a decent beer or Poncha while watching the World go by....steady flow of all different folks having a beer and some salty beans. The guy with the warm hat was great host telling everyone... More

What a great place this is whether for just a snack or a three course meal. Choice of seating areas from outside on terrace to white tablecloths in main restaurant or more relaxed tables for snacks. Babies and buggies and children also welcome. We went twice and will certainly be back again. Came as a surprise that they brew their... More

We stopped here for lunch after a long long walk, we had a traditional seafood rice dish, octopus salad, both very tasty but in my opinion very small portions for the price, we had a passionfruit dessert which was amazing, the friendly waiters in their amusing uniforms were very helpful in explaining the many dishes on the menu, lovely view...
