Great evening

We had so much fun at the Beerhouse, that rather than staying for a quick drink, as first planned, we decided to stay for the whole evening. Our waiter Miguel was superb, great fun and very accomodatng...he made us smile, from strait to finish. We are popping back for a drink this evening. The... read more

I always like to visit the Beerhouse to have a large beer. The staff are always very friendly and happy to help. We decided to have a steak one lunch time which was lovely. Cannot wait to go back again

We went for the beer being camra members. The location and beer were good but we didn't find the food or prices inspiring enough to eat there. Nothing wrong with it but as it was our first night we wanted something with a bit more oomph!

There are too many nice restaurants in Funchal so i would give this one a miss. The staff are dressed in Bavarian. The beer was ok but the food was very poor, in fact i have not seen so much food being sent back. It was cold, the vegetables over cooked and limp. We sent ours back. The waiter however... More

This is based near the marina and brews its own beer which is much better than the Coral beer you see everywhere. The seating outside is great with views across the marina. They do food but didn't try it although the sandwiches looked good. You can't miss it.

I cannot believe that I ate in this place after what happened to our chip shop in 1943. But here I was on a lovely day in Funchal around lunchtime and I got tempted in to this waterside restaurant. The food is just about ok for what this place is, but the service is typically Germanic - abrupt -not particularly... More

We stumbled upon the Beerhouse on our first day in Madeira -- it's hard to miss right on the seafront -- and went back again and again. If you appreciate beer, the Beerhouse brews its own and it is much, much better than the local Coral lager that you get everywhere else. The view is hard to beat as well!... More

Situated at the end of a pier next to the marina with comfortable seating inside and under cover. We just ate a light lunch and were served good quality food. The beer is a cloudy brew but tastes great and you can get a pint glass! Worth a stop even if you just admire the views of the marina and... More

Had an evening meal at th Beerhouse in a wonderful location overlooking the harbour, the food was good but did not have any wow factor but their own brewed beer which is produced from all natural ingredients is certainly worth a try!
