Very limited choice, but boy oh boy, what fantastic fish. Lovely local restaurant. No frills; just good fresh fish (and garlic!!!)

Do not even ask for anything that does not live in seas. Best food in town on very basic setup. Probably only 4 different wines available. Always fresh fish, loved espada.
we have just visited jaquet restaurant after a bus trip around the island .I read on trip advisor that it was a basic restaurant with no menu we arrive just before 7pm and people were waiting outside for it to open. when the door opened we were shown to our wooden tables and told what was on the menu .The...

Great little fish restaurant, basic,no menu, simple wooden tables and stools. We didn't like the limpits much but the Espada we had for main course was excellent, fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere and very cheap.
Wow! I have not enjoyed a fish meal so much ever. For me (and my wife) it was truly gorgeous. The restaurant is small, we arrived about 8:15 and were seated straight away.
What the gentleman and lady achieve in this tiny restaurant is a wonder. We sat very near to the kitchen area where the lady cooked and washed...

Never been so impressed by eating fish in a restaurant before i ate at Jaquet. Whatever you're going to have it;s going to be mouthwatering just by the smell and look of it. An advice ? Eat early otherwise you will have to queue because it is a really small place!

Expect no frills, watch the chef lady cook your food in this tiny restaurant. Only fish, with no menu, just what they have. Really well cooked and great atmosphere. Get there early to get a seat. Note as well it is closed after 4.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays so don't miss out by saving it for end of stay!
I had seen the good reviews on TA so was looking forward to eating here and it didn't disappoint. We had the limpets to start and then the dorado which was delicious. The resaurant was packed and they were busy but the service was great and the food excellent. We had a return visit the following week and once again...

Great if you want an authentic place with fantastic food outside the hunting grounds of the average 70 year old visitor on the island
