Description: Restaurant Mozart is born of a perfect symphony between Rui Pedro, Renato...
Restaurant Mozart is born of a perfect symphony between Rui Pedro, Renato, the Telesforo and all elements of the orchestra every day color the sound of the strings violin sprawling on the wall beside the great figures of the music classical. This name is a tribute to Madeira restoration. Situated in one of the most emblematic areas of Funchal, the Old Town, the Mozart Restaurant with a decoration taken to detail, in a style reminiscent of the Classical Era, lives an atmosphere, an atmosphere of refinement and yet familiar, with attention to detail and a team that although young is too experienced to play the ninth symphony of Mozart. This signature cuisine specializes in dishes whose essence carries various flavors and aromas in a real world full of colors. This signature cuisine inspired by the regional, national and international cuisine not only conveys to each of our clients sound and harmony, but above all provides strong and emotional palate.

Being small eaters, we settled for a one and two course meal from the Al a Carte rather than the set menu. For the main course we had the salmon and the bass and the food was excellent. We also had a complementary glass of wine as an aperitif plus an amuse bouquet. My wife tasted my creme brulee and... More

Although this was, on the face of it, the most expensive meal of the week, the reality was that it was worth every penny... or Euro. At €39 a head including wine it really wasn't expensive at all. With a glass of acceptable fizz, white wine with the starter - refilled twice - red wine with the main course and... More

The sister restaurant to Restaurant do Forte, after visiting there, we were so impressed, we also booked Mozart. Again, a fabulous meal, with all food and drinks included in the 39 Euros per had price. For the quality and quantity - very good value indeed. The restaurant is very themed around Mozart, with all dishes named after symphonies (I think... More

If you are looking for a quality restaurant in Funchal, this is the one for you. Excellent food and service and a cut above the majority of restaurants in the Old Town. Great value and superb presentation of food. Highly recommended.

One of a handful of Fine Dining restaurants in Funchal that offers a set price with drinks inclusive from the a la carte menu. Mozart's offered a better choice of dishes for my and my wife's preferences to its sister restaurants, Do Forte and Goya - the former located at the Fort in Old Town, the latter in the hotel... Last year this was probably the best restaurant on the lovely island of Madeira. Our visit tonight could not have been more disappointing. The welcoming sparkling wine smelt like someone had washed their socks in it. The place was packed with people and the staff were obviously overwhelmed. The drinks kept coming to disguise the fact that there was a... More

Consistently good service and very tasty food. The Mozart is the second of three restaurants, the others being O Forte and Goya of all are of a similar quality. From start to finish, I loved dinner at this restaurant. The staff were helpful, polite and also entertaining. The food was absolutely lovely and the price was very reasonable for what we had. We sat outside and although it was a chilly night, there were heaters and small blankets over the chairs which made sitting outside in December perfectly OK.... More
