We're big fans of Indian food, and have just returned from 2 weeks in Funchal. Of the many restaurants we tried (Indian and otherwise) this was our favourite. We went several times and all were good. The food was tasty and spiced up to our personal requirements. The staff were friendly, and looked after us really well. The only slight... More

This place was recommended to us and it did not let us down. A smart looking restaurant with a sea view. A good choice of curries at a good price. Would definitely go back.

Nice meal pleasant staff good value for money. Makes a change from the standard run of the mill Madeiran restaurants that are so common.

Started off with soggy papadoms and then four mains and rice, don't do chapatis only naan bread. Over priced for what you get.

The food was really tasty in this Indian restaurant,. Total cost was 46 euros for one lamb korma, one chicken tikka, one naan bread, one pilau rice and 4 small beers( we had 2 each). The waiters were very attentive and courteous.

Been going to Madeira for over 10years & this was the most expensive meal we've ever had. Overcharged on starters €15!!! Had to beg for royal savoy discount of 10%, requested our change twice plus service was bad. Never again.

Ate hear as a party of 12, food was very tasty and enjoyed in a warm and friendly atmosphere, took a while for the food to arrive at our table, but that was expected with such a large party, would recommend and certainly return.

Sat outside - great view. Good food, prompt and friendly service. Was having a meat free day - the veggie biryani, veggie pakora, onion rings and aloo gobi were all absolutely delicious and I could not believe how little we were billed.
