Very nice tearoom, located on a nice square. Ample seating outside. Good varied menu. Good coffee sold as well as tea. Worth a visit.

This is a friendly and intimate oasis which is located on one side of a practically traffic free square with additional seating provided in a charming first floor room, in the unlikely event that you don't want to be outside. We heartily recommend the apple cake and the apple pie, which were some of the best we've had the pleasure... More

I recommend this place for a breakfast or a light lunch. Very good food with style and quality. Very well located you could be inside (house completely refurbished and confortable) or outside in the terrace getting the sun!!!

Fair food, fair prices and very friendly staff. I was so happy I discovered this place. It's hard (impossible) to resist the home made cakes and pies. But also the lunch menu is worth a try. It was one of my favourite places in Funchal.

Me and my husband called here on Christmas Eve morning for a cuppa and a scone. It is lovely tea from a teapot and lovely warm scones with jam. They do so many kinds of tea it almost seems a shame just yo have English tea but we love it. They also do snacks sandwiches salads etc. Find it in... More

Friendly, beautiful, the room upstairs (even if we couldn't sit there because we're with small children) is very pleasant, good cakes, VERY good chocolate pie. Creative tea infusions. Very recommended.

Having discovered this tea house on a previous holiday we visited it several times on our recent holiday. Excellent tea; great value when taken with a scone served with raspberry or strawberry jam for 2euro 60. We also ate the savoury pancake for lunch one day. Situated in a peaceful, sunny square, never overly busy. The first floor seating area... More

Having visited Madeira for the past twelve years I am amazed that I have not visited this delightful and very interesting Tea and Fruit and Herbal Infusion house before. Could it be because I do not drink tea! Well I am so very glad that the beautiful fruity and cinnamon aroma made me drift into the tea shop and fall... More

When i saw the rating on tripadvisor i expected much better from the tea house. I had tea with scones and the scones were too dry.

We took tea here twice. The first time we ordered just a pot of tea for two. I asked for English Breakfast tea. We also had extra hot water to top up the pot. On our second visit we took one of the special offers which was for tea and a scone. We had been advised that this place offers... More
