Definitely a place to forget. I ordered one pizza and came another. I asked for drinks and sauces for my pizza and didn´t came at all. When other table with a foreign couple arrived the waiter stopped giving us attention and everything we asked for did not arrived to us anymore. The quality of pizza is really poor, you eat... More

If you want a quick pizza/pasta dish for not a lot of money then this is the deal place. There was no atmosphere at all when we went in as it was empty but we have eaten here before and knew what to expect. It started to fill up before we left. Food was average but overall excellent value for... More

The food wasn't bad. We had a pasta followed by ice creme for dessert. It was OK, certainly for the low prices. I suppose we caught the waitress on a bad day because she wasn't overly friendly. You won't be disappointed but there must be better italian style places in Funchal.

The young waiter is very friendly and helpful and the garlic bread we ate here was nice. However, almost as soon as we had eaten the starter our pizzas arrived, There were really thick and heavy, with lots of tinned veg rather than fresh. My daughter's prawn one was drowning in Marie Rose sauce. They were really disappointing pizzas and... More

As starter we had the normal garlic bread. It was cold and not fresh. My wife ordered Pizza with gambas for 15 Eur, what came in was an thick and pasty pizza drowned in cheese with just a few gambas. We have eaten pizzas in Italy, Germany, Sweden, Thailand and Spain but never tasted a pizza so bad as this... More

Great food - and service. We went here a few times. There is a lovely atmosphere and the little square is picturesque .

Good dinner on a picturesque square in old town facing the little church. Good service. Nice house wine. Steak is the big thing here and comes served on a hot stone still cooking. Nice meal and I would definitely recommend the place

Enjoyed a nice bruschetta followed by excellent pizza with drinks for about 13 euros....great value for money. The restaurant is in a location near the old town about 10 minutes from the seafront. Service was fast and friendly. Restaurant does some really good special deals and is well worth checking out. Recommended.

Called in one lunchtime when we darted into Funchal for the day on an island hopping cruise. Hadn't planned to dine anywhere in particular and we just sort of happened upon this place as our tummys began rumbling to tell us that it was Hungry o' clock. Great pizza and pasta dishes and superb banana split (fresh Canarian bananas are... More

I didn't like the tv screen, background music would have been much better, and as there were only 3 of us in at the time there was no atmosphere. But having said that the pizza was good, the cheap wine perfectly acceptable and the service excellent. So if you want a meal for not much more than 10 euros this... More
