Something a little different from the rest and reminded me a bit of Goucho's. I really liked this restaurant - all the food was great and the staff pretty efficient. Went here based on trip advisor reviews, and weren't disappointed - the speciality of the house - sliced picanha - was perfectly cooked, and we were both full after only three 'rounds'. Will go back when we are next in Madeira.

We have visited the restaurant each week of our holidays since October 2012 - 10 visits in 10 weeks. Each time the welcome has been friendly with efficient service and the food excellent. The wine range is very large but we keep to the recommended, inexpensive house wine. Bookin is becoming essential.

Firstly this is a beautiful restaurant - inside tables are well spaced and decorated to a high modern standard. Food is fantastic especially the beef/steak special carved from their skewer.
