We went here based on the TA reviews and loved it, we booked and good job as the place was packed! The staff were very friendly and fun, plus full of info about the food and wine on offer. The meat which is on a skewer which is caved off for you at your table is so tasty. We loved... More

Wow, what more can you say .............. The service was excellent and the beef on the skewer was delicious. Tender, juicy and full of flavour. A definite must when in Funchal

We want on our holiday's first day without reservation and waiting 10 minute they found a table for 4 people! We eat beef drinking passion fruit capirinha. Everything was perfect and the price is low enough to think about a mistake! We will be there again before leave!

We found out about this restaurant from looking at trip advisor and chose to have the picanha (house speciality) as we had seen others mention this in their reviews. It was pretty much like having unlimited steak; as soon as you finished one round they would come and top your plate up with more sliced steak. The beef was amazing!... More

We kept this place for our last night meal after reading the reviews on this site and friends recommendations. We were not disappointed. The wine list seems never ending with various prices. We both had the skewered beef dish which is carved at your table and for how many times you have room for. You don't have to order too many... There is a fair amount of competition for restaurants in this part of Funchal but to our minds Beef and Wine excelled. It's a light and airy room with plenty of space between the tables and comfortable seating. Service was excellent and attentive. The food was of a very high standard and the wine, as you would expect, was superb... More

We visited Beef and Wines on our first nice in Funchal. We enjoyed the sliced picanha, which is a number of roasts on a skewer, finely sliced onto your plate as often as you like until full. This came with a choice of sides for E16.90 and was finished off with roasted pineapple with cinnamon. Food was of good quality... More

Simple! Great food, great wine and great service! My girlfriend is not a beef eater but there is plenty of other great things to choose from!
