Glad we reserved a table

There were a number of things about this restaurant that made it stand out. The menu was not overly extensive meaning all food is cooked fresh, and the local bread is a must try. To start we had 'potato peels' (yes potato peels) which were surprisingly good despite the off putting name, and... read more

We have visited this restaurant many times over a number of years and it never disappoints. The picanha is very good, wine list extensive, service is excellent and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

This place is a bit different, great for meat lovers. The servings were very copious and the staff attentive. The grilled pineapple after the meal was a lovely touch.

Tried this restaurant based on the reviews. We were not disappointed The Picanah is what they are all about, skewered lumps of sirloin which are cared off at your table into your plate. And the the best thing is you can eat as much as you want! The wine list is extensive, and clearly explains the regions of Portuguese wines.... More

The staff at Beef & Wines were friendly, jovial, interested, accommodating and knowledgable. My wife and I had two very different dining experiences. I did the octopus and sliced beef picanha, the house specialty, where Lynne had the garlic bread and fresh cheese followed by the chilli chicken. Both meals were great but hats off to the sliced beef. If... More

Lovely food and great service. Don't bother having a starter as they are very big and lots of one thing and not as good at the main plate. The waiter just offered us glasses of red and white wine to match our choices - we should have asked the cost of these as I then worried during the meal that... More
