Excellent menu and service.

We called here on speck and were very impressed by the range of choices on the menu and the variety of wines available. The service was attentive and polite and the food came within a good time period. There is plenty of space in the restaurant and it is comfortably furnished. We were so... read more

A neon sign led us to this small restaurant, discretely located on the first floor of a small shopping centre type building. With both indoor and outside dining options (both under cover) it was well patronised by tourists and local people alike; and by the welcome afforded to some of the diners, it was clear a number were return customers.... We only had one meal at this restaurant but it was one to remember Chicken and Bacon in a lovely sauce (unknown) and Sea Bream that melted in the mouth. Excellent attentive service too

Dined here last week with my parents. A huge menu so it took me a while to choose. Settled on a chicken risotto with curry. Sounds strange but it was great. My mum is quite a fussy eater but they were happy to prepare plain fish for her. All food was served quickly and finished off with complimentary Madeira wine.... More

Lovely place to eat sitting on the balcony watching the World go by. The pizza was really good with the thinnest of bases and great toppings. We had pasta on our 2nd visit and this was scrummy.

I thought the portions at this restaurant were poor - I left hungry. There was more bone in the chicken than actual meat. The food was tasty and the staff friendly but meal was overpriced for what we got.

Am I alone in detesting the old fashioned habit of making a cover charge? In many restaurants in Funchal there is a charge for olives, bread, garlic bread etc.or even a one euro charge just to sit down! We must stamp this out!! So we were very pleased to see that this restaurant has no cover charge and allows you... More

This restaurant was very handy for our hotel and we ate here on the night of our arrival. Staff were friendly and seated us straight away. My husband had a mini pizza ( plenty big enough) and I had Canneloni with spinach. We enjoyed our meal and booked for New Year's Eve. We ate here four times in a week... More

We visited here on Saturday night 27th dec. We like it here and have been before always with good tasting food. This time it just lacked a bit of something not the surroundings as they have improved since the hotel above was renovated early part of this year. They have a new ceiling with better lighting and a much easier... More

We ate here one evening as we had been using a hotel nearby and decided to have just a starter before going into the town and having something else. We opted for a glass of wine each and shared some garlic pawns, they were easily the best garlic prawns I have ever had, give them a try.... The staff seemed... More
