I love this restaurant, even more before I start working there and know their people and the love they share for their bussiness. The best food came from the best people that have just one wish, make their clients happy enjoying a great meal

The whole area has a magical feel about it just up the road from Sintra village a good 15 min walk but taxi would be 5mins. the restaurant called Cantinho De s. Pedro, looked closed at 8pm but of course we were early it had really good food with a full Duck and orange sauce, and my partner had the... More

Excellent food. Very nice service. Good ambiance. With nice weather the lunch or dinner can be served outside. Clear value for money. Recommend to try it!

We turned up here for lunch, advised that restaurants are better value in Sao Pedro than the tourist traps of central Sintra. It was in a pretty square and we were warmly welcomed. But the waiters then filled our tables with an excessive number of appetisers and were no doubt disappointed when we rejected all but the rather dry (old?)... More

We were recommended to go here by our host - and it was good. All the other restaurants nearby here were closed but it didn't feel like a last resort to go here. Locals came a little later and the atmosphere was nice. Food and service all above average and the staff were friendly, the wine kept us happy. We... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our driver on a Sunday visit to Sintra. After walking through the buzzing market, we had a delicious meal, with very generous portions. I am not a meat eater, but my fish was grilled to perfection. The goat dish was delicious according to the meat eaters in my group and is only served on... More

This restaurant is well worth a visit if you are in the beautiful picturesque area of Sintra. The food and service are excellent as are the wines. Well worth a visit!

On the platos de dia, my husband had the cod fish gratin and I had the veal steak in a cream sauce. The steak had a good flavor but a lot of gristle. The steak was cooked perfectly for me (medium rare). The cod was very strong, but good. The atmosphere was enhanced by the families with young children and... More

We have chosen to eat here cause its on the way from Sintra to Lisboa. I think its impossible to be disappointed with this restaurant if you are ordering platos de dia - meals of the day. I had lombo de porco con castanhes - amazing pork in chestnut sauce and with chestnuts themselves served with fries, and my husband... More

... do not take the gratinated salmon! This dish is so strange we couldn't believe it. It is small portion of salmon (< 100 grams), some shrimp and a gooey something made from a strange sauce and mashed potatoes. This mixture is finally drowned in melted, chewy cheese. Please, do not take this food. It is not worth the money.... More
