First came here 15 years ago. Took lunch here today. Still exactly the same. Brilliant food. Charming rapid table service from multi-lingual waiter. Great house white. Good value for money. Unbeatable.

We stopped in for a late lunch during a day trip to Sintra. The food is superb, we had a variety of regional dishes, some wonderful appetizers, local cheese and house wine. All of the food was delicious, and I would even recommend the house red wine, a wine actually made for the restaurant, complete with their name on the... More

Enjoying a meal in the restaurant regional de Sintra. Sintra was a stop on our trip to the Algarve. In the evening we went to the restaurant to have our evening meal. It is located on the side from the house of common in Sintra. It is not a typical Portuguese restaurant as you can find in almost every village,... More

The restaurant is tucked away on a side street away from the main area of Sintra. The Prawns in Garlic started is amazing and I always have the Pork escalope's regional style again for the main course which is a fantastic dish. I have eaten in this restaurant many times and believe it to be the best in the region.... More

Tucked away near the Town Hall this is well worth a visit and good value for money.. It is away from all the action and more suited to those wanting a good meal than those who want to people watch on outside tables.

Hidden on a side street it's easy to miss. Delightful food, well prepared. We had the Monkfish and our friends had the cod in tomato & onion sauce with crispy potatoes - both standard Portuguese dishes and both delicious. House wine and delightful desserts made the meal complete. Oops, not quite. We ate the bread knowing there would be a... More

If you are hungry, try out this restaurant which makes a fabulous and massive monkfish stew. Very filling with flavourful rice in the stew which is nice to savour during cold weather. There was also a shellfish stew and other yummy favourites such as monkfish with almond crust. The bread served at the beginning was generous, served with a local... More

This restaurant was lovely - tasty food, well priced...a great introduction to the local cuisine! The traditional cod was served in a tomato and onion sauce with potato crisps
