Great regional restaurant

The Seafood stew is delicious. I wish this dish had a more attractive name, as it is more like a risotto, it contained a lot of large prawns and was nearly enough for two people I would have never ordered it except that the B&B owner suggested it. Had the monkfish kebab and the regional cod - simple, fresh and good. Also the olives/bread/cheese starter and the house White were good. Staff was very friendly and efficient. There is no outdoor seating, though.

Had a really nice meal here. First time I've ever ordered a dish by asking what another customer was having (seafood stew). It was delicious. Very big portion size too. Couldn't finish mine but it was so good my friends helped me finish it. As with most restaurants in Portugal, only eat the bread, olives and butter they provide at... More

We were torn between this restaurant and a more upmarket one but we were really glad we chose this one in the end. We wanted some good, simple Portuguese food and we felt this was what we got here. The bread that arrived looked lovely but we decided to wait to see the size of our main course before indulging.... More

Had a lovely lunch with very friendly service. We split a starter of melon and ham and it was a huge piece of delightful melon. Really enough for three or four people. My husband had broiled sole which was served with nice vegetables. I had seafood crepes which came with a small salad. It was all very good.

Had the traditional Portuguese seafood stew. It was delicious and in good portion. We enjoyed the evening. But like everywhere in Portugal, the bread, butter, olive and cheese balls that they brought to the table before we even saw the menu were not free.. Just be aware of it.

At least the dish we ordered, fried chicken tasted like cardboard! On top, a waiter with an atitude. The appetites were OK,

Our first meal in Portugal was served well at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Jet lag kept us from enjoying a long dinner, but the food was good and the price was fair.

Wonderful service and atmosphere. Food was fantastic! As with all restaurants in Portugal, small appetizers like olives, bread, and cheese ( even the butter)are brought to your table. There is a charge for every item- they were so good it didn't matter. The charges were nominal at best and the quality was incredible. Ordered the grilled pork chop and the... More

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal of monkfish stew and mango mousse, washed down with an excellent house Branco. Service was attentive, pleasant and the waiter's ability to communicate ably in several languages was very impressive. Highly recommend if staying in or near Sintra.
