If you order the Seafood Stew you will have a great meal and incredible value for tasty, fresh seafood. Very nice European atmosphere - a real treat and very good value for the $$ spent. Highly recomment this Portugese style restaurant. Have the bread before dinner - wonderful!

We were two. The food was excellent and authentic. The bread and the cheese were of good quality and the dishes tasty. We didn't have dessert. The price was reasonable, the service welcoming.

After a long day exploring Sintra's most interesting sites, we didn't find many places to eat on the web that were intriguing. The hotel receptionist, however, did recommend the Restuarante Regionale as being authentic and non-touristic. We then took about a 15 min walk from the tourist area to that part of Sintra near the train depot. The restaurant is... More

There are a few good agreeable tasty restaurants in SINTRA and this is one of them. But it is not great, fancy, worth a special trip. Thus 4 stars. It is modestly priced. The food is local specialties as in many local restaurants. This restaurant is very close to the city hall and the train station so useful if in... More

We had the chicken soup to start (homely and just what our travel weary bodies needed) and then the stewed seafood with rice to share. The food and service was all excellent. We booked a 2 hour Tuk Tuk tour from the company directly opposite the restaurant. Apparently this restaurant also comes recommended by Rick Steves - I totally get... More

Long time local owner Dantes was very helpful to describe some of the dishes and just a fun fellow to talk with. Go early! They open at 7 PM and we were the first to be seated. Within 30 minutes, the restaurant was full with people waiting!

From the facade little you know the experience you are about to have! Do not miss the Arroz Tamboril, Some sort of Seafood watery Risotto that is just ridiculously tasty. Then we ordered Steaks with Bearnaise Sauce. Very very good food. Great attention, by the way.

We had an excellent lunch here. No tourists in sight. A Locals favourite. Food cooked with love. My arroz marisco was just amazing. For €12.50 it was the best seafood bargain of my life. Full of clams, mussels, prawns and meaty sand crab claws. It was easily enough for 2 to share however it was so delicious l managed to... More

Recommended to us by the owner of the B & B where we stayed, we were delighted we took her advice and visited twice on our three nights in Sintra. A warm, pleasant welcome and delicious food to match. The prices are very reasonable and portions more than enough.. We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely restaurant.
