Come and see our recently refurbished Midori Restaurant with its contemporary feel and magnificient views of the surrounding Sintra hills and Penha Longa (the long Rock). Our regulars find it difficult to decide if they prefer the Sushi Lovers Buffet on Tuesday's with its amazing sushi and sashimi selection or, if they would rather go for the Midori Buffet on Saturdays, where the best of Japanese cuisine is offered to all guests. Tired of decisions, try them all!

Nice sushi buffet

Went on Tuesday for the sushi lovers buffet. 49 euros per person. The rolls were pretty boring and average but the made to order sushi and sashimi were very good. If you like Japanese food go Midori - they do a buffet and pure quality. My wife's Japanese and we both agreed the sashimi was up there with the best we ever had.

The restaurant was lovely and the service very attentive. The rolls were average and tasted like they had been made earlier. The sushi was freshly made to order and delicious. There was a separate area with miso soup, made to order tempura both really delicious. The desserts were some of the best Japanese desserts I have tried

It was only 30 min after I left the restaurant that it stroke how bad my experience was. Let's start from the beginning: starting from the wine list, I noticed that the cheapest wine was Esteva and it cost 22 eur (this is a 2 eur bottle in the supermarket). OK, this is a 5 star hotel, at least the... More

Very nice restaurant in an agreable environment. Service is very good. Food is also nice and on there is a huge buffett on Saturday nights that allows you to taste Japanese food in all possible versions. Small and delicate small appetizers as well as wonderful desserts

Midori is a top notch Japanese restaurant at Penha Longa Resort in Sintra. On tuesdays they have a Sushi buffet and on Saturdays a full Japanese buffet, also including warm dishes. On any other day of the week they have an excellent Menu (closed on Sundays). The food is delicious and the decoration is amazing, they also have a very... More

Beautiful restaurant and nature surrounds, but very poor food. We went on a Saturday for the buffet and very poor offer. Regular and ordinary sushi and if you want something cooked such as teppan you need to wait ages! Very expensive (57€) for what they offer.

The hole in the wall we go to at home is MUCH better and less expensive. Don't listen to the "world famous" reviews the staff is touting about this restaurant. Save your money and enjoy dinner elsewhere in Sintra.

Midori had a special one evening that was a buffet but not your typical buffet. There were various stations set up and all of your food was made to order. Although a bit pricey, it was well worth the price.
