Maybe this restaurant was again a tourist trap for english and americans, but when you love the french cuisine avoid this place. The ambiance is very good, the service mwah..., a bit lazy and not educated, The food, especially th risotto with duck was awfull, dry, just not good enough. i picked only the duck pieces, the rice was not... This place is so overpriced that in the end you feel kind of ripped off. Yes we saw the prices before going in and the restaurant it's decorated medieval style with a very (too much) polite service. Maybe it's me but for this price range (85 euros/2pax) I prefer to go for a more sophisticated place. Bye bye!

The service was amazing! Our glasses were never empty. The waiters were extremely friendly speaking multiple languages. The food was equally incredible! Everything was outstanding!!! I would recommend it all day!

We went with a large party of 9 people following a recommendation from our hotel. The expectations were high. Service was poor and very slow; the food was below average, and consisted of tough meat on plates too small to handle the volume. Our main course's were accompanied by beans and carrots boiled to death, and crinkle cut chips (1983... More

The interior setting of this restaurant is full of character, the menu varied and some of the dishes are cooked on an open fire - it should all be perfect but my experience was not! When I arrived at the restaurant at 8.15pm, 45 minutes after it opens, there were about eight guests already seated. The couple on the table... More

Good food and good service but Very expensive, due to tourist area. The menu is very extensive though.

Obidos is charming, worth a walk through. We combined it with lunch and enjoyed this restaurant. The staff were very well-trained and the food simple and well prepared. The restaurant is old-world with white tablecloths and good appointments.

We were I staying inside the gates of Obidos bot this restaurant was recommended as our hotel restaurant was closed. We were pleasantly surprised and would return. It was dark but very quaint. Another great Posrtuguese restaurant. Reasonable in cost and good food.

A Ilustre Casa de Ramiro has an old world charm. Meals are cooked on a grill right before your eyes. Loved the clams, duck rice and flan. Great service.

Quite a traditional atmosphere, conservative menu and staff, but always good and the pepper steak perhaps the best of all.
