The restaurant is very well located in the very heart of Bairro Alto area which is the best one in Lisboa to spend your night. It is a simple family run restaurant. The personnel is really nice and make you feel home. The food is delicious and is the typical Portuguese food from the tradition (sardinas, bacalhao, etc...). So if... More

The place isnt dressed up chic like all the ones around it, but that says nothing about the quality of food or service. I was recommended to try this by a native and it was well worth it!!!! I had the rabbit which was amazing. The food was so good I had to try dessert which was some candied egg... More

Every time I visit Lisbon, I make sure I have a meal or two here at this lovely restaurant.Since my last visit it has been refurbished inside and has beautiful new tiles on the walls, a maze of colorful plates with a shadow box theme of artwork blended with the traditional artwork from the generations long past. It's bright, cozy... More

We ate at this restaurant 3 times on our recent trip to Portugal. This place has a nice atmosphere and the food is very good. If you are into octopus salad this is one place to have it. Tender and tasty. The fish is always a good option, specially with "arroz malandrinho" (beans or tomato) - which is rice that... More

A good place to get some no-fuss well-cooked Portuguese food. Nice atmosphere (but book ahead if coming on a Friday/Saturday night), good service.

If you need a restaurant where you want a very good meal that, no matter what you chose, meat or fish, simple or more elaborate food, try this one. I've been there for years and years, and I have to say that is one of the restaurants I can't live without. Try it, at least once.

This was a recommendation from a lisbon local, and we were not disappointed. Not far from the party streets of Barrio Alto, this restaurant has a good selection of dishes with a fine collection of wine (and port, if that's your fancy). The grilled squid was a highlight in the meal, and the swordfish was very tasty too. The waiter... More

We were pleasantly surprised that the waiters all spoke French and English (we are from Montreal), and they were very welcoming and efficient. But the best part was the food! More than delicious! So tasty with a touch of homemade, that we had to go there another evening as well :) I wish I could comment more on the menu.... More

Very nice place just off the main walkway in the heart of the popular Bario Alto/Chaido area. We had immediate seating for a late lunch and had a very pleasant waiter. The red sangria was a bit too fruity for my taste but it had very nice bits of tropical fruit. A bread basket is offered with plates of fresh... More

Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to taste the food. Apparently, at 10p.m. they have enough other customers, so they did not allow us to stay neither outside nor inside, if we would not order a dinner. Not that we wanted only to drink a juice, but we were not going to have "a dinner", so they asked us... More
