In Bairro Alto, most restaurants are touristy, even if they like locals and regulars! This is our "normal" choice, when out in a group and after doing it a few years, we know everyone and are always welcome as "part of the family". The food is good (try the "lombinhos de porco gratinados"... yummmy!!!) without being exceptional and the only... More

We had dinner here last night choosing the place because of its sincere appearance. There was a line forming outside but this doesn't justify the waiter's rude behaviour and the rush in describing the menu and in all things service related. Food was ok and so was the price, but going to the toilet i was impressed by the nastiness... More

The food is good, but the absence of locals makes this a typical tourist place. A stayaway if you're looking for a more true Lisbon feel.

I have to say that I really like the food in this restaurant. Sangria is also great. It is really nice overall, especially in the summer if you get a table outside. Cons: The waiters are a bit slow.

My husband and I we staying near Bairro Alto, and the weather was a bit chilly, so we decided to eat somewhere walkable. We stumbled upon this restaurant and it looked a little less touristy than others around it. The service was wonderful. Our waiter (whom spoke more than 4 languages just while we were there!) was attentive but not... More

We've decided to eat there because the service was very friendly. I had "bacalhau Lagareiro " and my boyfriend "francesinha". We didnt like the food. There are so many restaurants around it's hard to pick one. So I guess better try next door. ;)

Service was slow, food was awful. We waited over 30 min for food to come. The espetada lulas c/gamba was unevenly cooked, sent it back because half of a shrimp was still black, ie raw. The waiter asked if I wanted it more cooked - duh! It took 10 min for it to make it back to our table. The... More
