We have enjoyed 2 diners at Clube de Jornalistas. Both of them were excellent with very good service and excellent food. Wines were among the best I've ever tasted. Food is very well balanced and extremely fresh.

Excellent food, great atmosphere, we were treated with a glass of champagne upon arrival. Our waiter was very helpful with wine and food recommendations. We had a wonderful romantic first night in Lisbon!

We had an excellent experience here. First, the prices were a tad higher than lots of places in Lisbon. But what you got was: the tables were widely spaced (not crammed together), one seating per table each evening (not rushed), and excellent service (we loved our server!). Most of our food (in our party of 5) was excellent. One of... More

Good food. Nice staff and a quirky venue. But in a city where the food is as awesome as Lisbon, I definitely dont get the hype. Even some of the Mercado Ribero food was better. Worth a looksee but not top of any list.

The ambience, food, staff, and even the silverware were incredible. We took the recommendations by the staff and sat outside beneath blossoming trees and surrounded by iron wrought street lamps. Try the octopus. Unbelievable.

Greeted by a friendly, smiling lady who unlocked the door to this interesting restaurant, we were sat in one of a few dining rooms. I first enjoyed the squid, though as others have mentioned, the portion was a little on the smaller side. I then moved on to the risotto which was delicious and I believe cooked with coconuts. I... The receptionist in our hotel recommended this place and we are so glad she did! Fantastic fine dining experience for a fraction of the cost. Love that they greet you with champagne on arrival and give you a gift when you leave. A very cool venue..

Friendly and competent service. Beautiful restaurant, gorgeously lit. Adjoining courtyard blanketed under pink flowers that had fallen from the trees. Brilliant ambience. My biggest quarrel was with portion size. What I ate, tasty though it was, was too meagre to be truly satisfying. Starter of squid was very good, if very small. Likewise, my main, the lamb burger, was not... More

You ring the bell to enter! Love the details – complimentary fizz to start, little gifts as you leave and friendly and knowledgable service throughout. We loved our food – and as others have mentioned, the 'sweet things' pudding is wonderful. Like a piggy I also has my own – the chocolate soup which was fantastic. I loved the atmosphere of... More
