Steak experience

First you knock at the door and you enter a restaurant that probably hasn't changed in 25 years. Decor old school and a bit faded, waiters have worked there years and are smooth and attentive. Steak good and price ok. Place not buzzy but feels ok despite quietness.

The place is basically serving only the steak in three different ways. You can probably guess that the steaks were perfectly made and very tender because if they wouldn't be then the place would probably been in bankruptcy already. Simple and good flavors especially in the "portuguese" version which had garlic and olive in the steak juices. However as the... More

It was tasty and was €9,90. If youve got expensive taste this is the restauant for you. Theres other cheap eats where you get more bang... More

Went to their resturant at Timeout Mercado da Riberia. The signatur steak With their old style sauce is a must try. Amazing! Also, when in Portugal, try The steak kooked in oil, garlic and spices. An eyeopener!

Revisiting this restaurant I can assure that the quality is always perfect. The steak with it's sauce and french fries is always divine . But not only ; the bread and butter to start and Pata Negra Smoked Ham are of big quality. The wines have a good ratio price quality; We tasted Quinta da Leda from Douro - 5... More

By far the best entrecôte I had in Portugal, maybe in all Europe. I took the café and the meat was cooked perfectly and exactly as ordered. The sauce was so good, I had to get a piece of bread to finish it up so I wouldn't just drink it. The service was not overwhelmingly nice, but as the quality... More

The young waitress who served us spoke perfect English and recommended a lovely bottle of Portuguese red wine. These made the evening. The restaurant itself is fine, but very red inside and with only two small windows with shades on in the non-smoking area, felt a little hot and overpowering despite the air-con. It does feel like an old Chicago... More
