Today I went there for a snack and ordered the croquettes camaron , and it was totally untasty and very bad . FOR 2.50 it contains Zero shrimp , just a mass of flour and whatever cheap ingredient they put in it . The taste was awful and when I told the waitress that this is not good , she... More

By far the best entrecôte I had in Portugal, maybe in all Europe. I took the café and the meat was cooked perfectly and exactly as ordered. The sauce was so good, I had to get a piece of bread to finish it up so I wouldn't just drink it. The service was not overwhelmingly nice, but as the quality... More

The young waitress who served us spoke perfect English and recommended a lovely bottle of Portuguese red wine. These made the evening. The restaurant itself is fine, but very red inside and with only two small windows with shades on in the non-smoking area, felt a little hot and overpowering despite the air-con. It does feel like an old Chicago... More

last night in Lisbon and our driver recommended here for the best steak in the city. When you arrive, you need to ring the bell so they can welcome you and seat you to your table. The steak and potatoes were very tasty. The entire dinner was excellent. When we left, they greeted us again and walked us out. Great... More

If you've ever eaten in one of the creaky old steakhouses near Smithfield market in London you'll know something of what to expect - but then again have another think. You have to book ahead. When you arrive you have to ring a doorbell to get in. Don't know if they have any young waiters but we didn't see any.... More

Great food, excellent service... Steaks done in traditional Portuguese style. A must for steak lover. The dessert is great too....

This lovely place has the warmest and most friendly staff. Food is delicious, steak was cooked perfectly and the cream was just divine! We ordered two sirloin steak, bit cheaper than fillet. Both served within 15 minutes. Great romantic meal. Will defiantly come back! Morgana and Raj

I can only confirm the positive reports about this fabulous restaurant. Yes it is 'odd' - you ring the bell to gain entry to what appears to be a gentlemen's private club, nothing like you expect a café to be and therefore quite formal. However the staff were very professional (in immaculate uniforms) and Ana, our waitress/server was utterly delightful.... More
