Standard meal in very cramped surroundings

We thought this place looked attractive and so ventured in. Like a lot (but not all) of restaurants in this area we were packed in like sardines! This is not pleasant. Menu quite varied (one of those ghastly tourist menus with photographs of meals!). Service was slow and not as good as other... read more

We was trapped with this restaurant. It was our first day in Lisbon and we were so wrong to choose this restaurant! We paid like 50 euros for lunch!! We will never go there again! I ordered cordon blue and my husband ordered a beef steak, both were average! This restaurant was shown on the booking.com map. So it might... More

This restaurant will try to rip you off with inflated prices for poor food. Look at how many people have rated it 1 star. It is not a coincidences. AVOID

We luckily ended up to Alfaia by coincidence. Food and wine delicious (we took the chef's recommendations and house white wine!), service was polite and quick. No complaints!

Great food, great staff, great value. Good menu with a choice of meats and traditional cuisine. Wine menu also contained many options.

The Moscatel is wonderful and the service is unbeliveable. As it is placed in Bairro Alto and a tourist area, they deserve the tip. The place is cozy, in the tradition of Portuguese good restaurants.

Unfriendly staff. Pushing fish for 50 € and putting starters on the table unasked. People next to us had wrong bill. Food was horrible. Dry chicken and french fries from old fat. Don't go there

This is the first real Portuguese meal we the in Lisbon. The starter was regional sausage and was simply delicious. Great wine recommendation to go with fish dishes and desserts were nice. Very good service and smily staff. Good value meal. Would go back.

When someone goes out of their way to write a terrible review, there must 've been something clearly off... After some looking around, we had enough of all the walking and made a choice based on looks between two opposite ones. Picture menus gallore, but it didn't look that bad at first. So, after getting on the wifi we checked... More
