This is a modern style Italian restaurant, serving plain, simple but delicious food. Tables are shared, service is superfast and kind, and there is always a crowd here. Great visit, a bit off the beaten track. A very nice deli is next doors.

I really don't understand how people can like this place... We were seated outside, almost glued to the couple next to us, having to share the same bench. Then...both pizzas were served on the same plate for both our surprise and the people next to us... They then did the favour of giving us two small desert plates, so we... More

We came here twice in May when we were in Lisbon for my birthday and twice again in July when we were in Cascais, we came via train and the metro, so easy to use. Anyway the food at this place is just divine, I had my usual of spaghetti with chili and garlic oil, they have so much garlic... More

After a short search we managed to find the place. We had a lovely pizza at the terrace near the river. My girlfriend had pizza with shrimps while I had prosciutto with rocket salad. The waiter was fluent in English and gave us good tips for ordering.

Being myself a very demanding and critical person when it comes to pizzas, all I can say is that the simplicity that lies in the meatiness of the porcini, their earthy flavor joined with the delicate and sweet of asiago cheese in a perfect cooked crust is pure perfection. The pizzas of my companions were also really good and of... More

This is a very popular restaurant among locals but probably not very known by tourists as it is not located near major tourist attractions. Go early or be prepared to wait in a long queue as the restaurant does not accept reservations. You will eat in long tables and share your space with other diners so don't expect much privacy.... Well, it's pizza and pasta - what can go wrong ? Nothing really, but then again hard to do anything spectacular. A few, slightly, unusual ingredients, OK wine choice (for pizzeria), reasonable prices. Staff very helpful and friendly. Get there early - we were there for about 6.15 and got a table straightaway, as we left, about 7.30 the queue... More

We decided to go for a dinner at Casanova based on the reviews here, and we were very satisfied. Prepare to wait quite a bit, especially if you wanna sit outside and dine while having the views over the river, but all depends on the time when you arrive to the place. Although a bit overcrowded with no menu in... More

We've been around Lisbon for a week and this is the best pizza and pasta place in Lisbon. It is a bit out of the way so not a tourist stop but very busy with locals. Competes with best pizza and pasta dishes we had in Italy.

We've had pizza at several restaurants in Lisbon by now (we're here for a month). The pizzas as Casanova are the best we've run into. My husband had the diavola, which was delicious. My only criticism is that the menu was not offered in English, which led to a rather unfortunate order on my part. I ended up with a... More
