Very comfortable, great food and cakes. You can easily spend hours there, going from brunch to afternoon coffee.
you'll find mostly tourists here and that is also exactly what is is set up for. Still it has a very cosy atmosphere. You can sit at a table or in a little salon. I can imagine portugees going there for the nice atmosphere. There's a lot af magazines and books lying about including a lot of travel books in... More
Loved our lunch here. Beautiful decor and a really charming cafe. Pricey for Lisbon but this is reflected in the top quality ingredients and fare. Really nice staff as well.
Stopped by being lured by interior and outstanding atmosphere. Recommend this place. Feels like home here. Good for lunch break and romantic evenings .
We visited Pois on the fly - relying on Trip Advisor recs only. What a great choice. The atmosphere is awesome. Community setting - cozy, relaxed, sofas and comfy chairs. Food was great. The quiche was excellent, as were the guacamole and "cheese curd" tapas. Prices reasonable and free wifi. Great spot to take a break from walking the hills!
Nice cozy cafe just steps from Se. It's always crowded with tourists, and you will have to wait a bit to get a table. That does not mean that it's a touristy place, not at all.
Loved this place-friendly waitress and nice relaxed vibe. Salad was gorgeous. I had the fresh juice of the day and at €3.60 I think it was a little overpriced. You won't be let down on good quality fresh ingredients if you eat here.
We've been here several times before and have never been disappointed. The food is still great, so is the wine. And the people are wonderful. We always feel very much at home. It's lovely to be surrounded by books and people who are so obviously enjoying themselves. Our favourite place in Lisbon.
Colourful couches and armchairs around coffers used as tables may not be the most comfortable furniture for eating, but, together with the bookshelves and the three vaults of the ceiling, they certainly contribute to make this restaurant so original and cosy. If you happen to be strolling near the cathedral around lunchtime, Pois Café is a good choice for a... More
We went here to have lunch after reading the good reviews on trip advisor. It's a large, airy place, but it doesn't feel too big. There's tables and chairs, but also some comfy sofas, which make it feel like you are at someone's home. All in all, the interior looks good, with lots of books to read, and just nice... More
