My wife and I shared a a meal at this restaurant that was one of the best of our vacation. We had a chicken & artichoke tagine and a lamb with prunes tagine. Both of our dishes were excellent, perfectly cooked and seasoned and served along with fresh homemade small sides to accompany our meal. The chef Rabia not only... More

My daughter, girlfriend and I rented an apartment on Rua de Rosa in Bairro Alto, Lisbon and had read a review from a previous tenant about Flor da Laranja which is on the same street. We were lucky enough to secure a reservation for our last meal in beautiful Lisbon. It is a small, cozy Moroccan restaurant run by a... More

We visited this restaurant after walking past the previous night noticing how ambient it seemed from the outside. The owner/ waitress/ chef was so warm and welcoming on our arrival, she really made us feel like we were dining in her own home! The decor was lovely. We started with some vine leaves, homemade hommous and pitta, main meal of... More

In this small restaurant in Bairro Alto one could have a taste of the scents and flavours of Morocco. The decoration is nice, but the best is the food and the service. I found all dishes very well prepared, with an authentic flavour but also with some personal touch. The service is a little slow, since the owner is also... More

Flor da Laranja is a small, charming restaurant located in Bairro Alto, a short walk from the Gloria funicular. The food is Morrocan and very well prepared. My companion and I both had tagine with artichokes; hers with chicken, mine with lamb. Both excellent and served on the plate, not in a tagine. The wine list suits the cuisine and... More

I had never really tried authentic Moroccan food before so when I saw this restaurant pop up on trip advisor, I thought I simply must try it. This is a very small restaurant with only about 5-6 tables. It is a one man show…meaning a friendly Moroccan woman owns and runs it. She is the server AND chef and she... More

It is a small restaurant located in Bairro Alto. Some starters were unpalatable, whereas the main courses were of average quality. Portions were small and at high prices. The multi-talented owner was very friendly.

I visited Lisbon last August and decided to go to try some of the good restoraunts in the city centre. This was one of them (when I was doing my research, this restaurant was far better ranked here). The atmosphere is really nice and cosy, the lady is kind of sweet and my mother and I managed to get in... More

Great choice of somewhere that bit different. I had the chicken tagine with artichoke which was excellent. The owner actually ask if you want leg, breast etc... - so it's not just great food... . My wife had the lamb tagine with prunes - also excellent. But for me the star was the crepe with red fruit and ice cream... More

The food was delicious! The woman who worked there (probably the owner) did everthing herself but still managed to joke and talk with the clients. We had a lovely meal and tasty dessert. Would definately recommend anyone who likes moroccan (kindof similar to lebaneze) food.
