Had dinner at this gem located in Bairro Alto last night for my birthday and was very impressed. The place is well decorated and exudes the Moroccan theme. The food was excellent! We had the lamb tagine with prunes, shrimp piri piri tagine, and kebabs. The dishes came with 5 different types of mezes, which are seasoned vegetable side dishes... More

this place was not fancy and it was very small, but food was so tasty we will dream of it for long! Our son (12 years) was also very happy and lady who runs this place was very friendly and welcoming.

Couscous, vegetarian tagine and shrimp peri peri were all very delicious. The host, waitress, cook was very welcoming and wonderful about preparing our meals to our liking. Considering all that she was doing, we were also pleasantly surprised with the service.

This is a small one person operation. Rabea, the host-manager-cook-waitress, is a warm individual full of passion, who is service-oriented and openly welcoming. The food was excellent and tasty with a home-cooking flavor and feeling. The place is small and full of atmosphere... however, can become somewhat claustrophobic and stressful when overcrowded, as we have experienced towards the second half... More

My wife ordered cous cous and I had the lamb with prunes... really, really good food. The owner is also the chef and she was an absolute pleasure. We had a fantastic time there.

With the friendly owner taking orders, dishing up food and serving everyone, it felt like she had invited us in to her home for a meal with friends. The place is small so book ahead or come early. Vegetarians would love it here as there are a wide variety of mezzehs. We had two starters, two tagines and a table... More

This happened to be directly opposite the apartment I was renting in Bairro Alto over New Year, and checking on trip advisor was warmly recommended. We tried to book a table for New Year's eve with no luck, but managed to get here on the 2nd. The owner/cook/host is charming and very attentive; a native of Morocco, she has been... More

The food was well prepared and tasty. We were four and had all different dishes. the price of the main include some small side dishes. The desserts were OK but forgettable. The lady serving us was very friendly, and spoke english very well. The meal for four with wine, main course and desserts cost about 100 euro - a very... More

This place is amazing, the food, atmosphere, and the lady who runs everything. We enjoyed everything we ate. If you go to this restaurant and want dessert. Don't get the Orange Divine. You will be disappointed. 4 Euros for a sliced orange with some cinnamon on top. The other desserts are very tasty, but this one is not worth the... More
