Small, intimate and relaxed restaurant with great food and charming service. Portugese sausage is fabulous and the SãoTomé chocolate cake rich and powerful. Best to go from 9 onwards and worth a visit at least once.

The restaurant is situated in a very quiet, charming side street and we were welcomed by a very friendly host and waiter. When we sat, we were presented with the welcoming dishes of ham, cheese, bread a very good crab spread. There is a regular menu and a good choice in the specials menu too. Unfortunately we didn't find the... More

Guarda Mor is a really nice restaurant, very good food, good environment. The staff were good, personable, attentive, friendly. But the reason we will return every time we're in Lisbon is the wonderful fado music. Some of the very best we've heard! Don't miss this one!

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel as somewhere to experience traditional fado music with great food and that is exactly what we got! The service was outstanding throughout, even cooking a bespoke vegetarian dinner for us. They have beautiful fado every Wednesday, starting at 10:30 and going on beyond midnight, lending a great atmosphere to the place... More

Nice looking restaurant in a nice area: cozy atmosphere, very good service. The food was average. I had the açorda with shrimps, and my parents some deep-fried fish, which were both kind of salty. All in all, a good experience, but not impressed.

Had been recommended by a friend who had been previously. Coincidentally it was really close to our hotel. When we walked past during the day it was closed and didnt look all that great with the rills down. However when we returned on a Wednesday night it was amazing. Really friendly people, great food and Fado at approx 10.30. We... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and was an easy walking distance but had I read these reviews first and realized they allow smoking I would have skipped it. We ordered a chicken cooked with wine and potatoes that was very salty, and a pork dish with pickles with meat so dry it could hardly be cut, let alone... More

After not making reservations anywhere and having trouble getting into places, we stumbled across this incredible little spot down a narrow alley. They seated us right away and we were very pleased with the food and the service. I had the steak and my wife had the pork. Great food!!! We also had the foie gras and chutney. Very good!!... More

This is a delightful cosy little restaurant. Not only was the food gorgeous, but the atmosphere and service is first class. I would highly recommend the duck pate, it just melted in your mouth. We were recommended a lovely bottle of red wine and some traditional portugese food, both lovely. We both felt very well looked after, the staff couldnt... More

They deliver food. That’s it. We had Bife de Lomo with green pepper sauce. The meat was good, the wine was good and the French fries were okay. The dish was without any fantasy. If you need food because you have to eat, go there. When you need some atmosphere think twice before you visit this restaurant. If you want... More
