Very good meat restaurant

Nice restaurant in a good location close to Chiado and Bairro Alto. Service is good and attentive without being intrusive. The meat was delicious. We also tried the dessert platter, would highly recommend the chocolate fondant. Nice evening dinner overall.

They serve a fair grilled entrecote, and thats the only item on the menu. How they serve it is like in the early 1900's. It felt a bit like a schooltrip were everybody gets the same menu and the teacher is running around with french fries fir everybody. Serving a platter of cheese as an unasked for starter is tourist... More

Having been to the Entrecôte restaurants in Paris we were keen to give this a try while in Lisbon. We went on a Saturday night without a booking ( website said no booking required but were asked if we had a booking when we walked in!) We had a 5 minute wait for a table which was acceptable but were... More

My partner and I had an absolutely brilliant dinner at this restaurant. As it was a Sunday there was a set menu which was initially a little confusing, but we had read great things about this restaurant so we stuck it out. We were served a salmon starter followed by the steak and fries that all the guide books raved... More

There is no mistery. It os meat with fries and a great sauce. You can have as much fries as you want (at least I had) and the meat is great. The sauce is delicious, but I prefer other kind os sauce for a meat dish. The concept is awkward for me: only one dish and two kinds of salad?... More

So happy to have heard about this place - it was amazing. Friendly, helpful staff and amazing food: the sauce on the steak was delicious. The wine we chose (Monte Vilar) was absolutely lovely and such a great price at only 12 EUR. Just a tip: go for the Entrecôte as the other option on the menu (there are only... More

A pilot from TAP Portugal recommended this to us when we met him in our hotel bar. He said the sauce on the steak was to die for and the steak itself was fabulous. So, me and 3 friends headed to the brasserie and it was very rustic and authentic looking inside, with fabulous high ceilings and gritty chandeliers. I... More

Been here a bunch of times, and always pleased. Only one great (as long as you like beef) dish on the menu so no hastle if you don't know what to order. Relaxing atmosphere in the heart of the wonderful Chiado central city shopping district - a million places to explore after dinner with so much nearby.

While there are other Brasseries around Lisbon, this one is located near Bairro Alto, an election spot for night time activities. I think it has other things on the menu but people come here to eat the steak with fries and its unique savory/dressing. Not innovative but very good. The location has a room for smokers and another one for... More

Not bad at all in fact it was probably the best restaurant I went to in the area. The problem is that it's quite expensive for what it is. Basically steak and chips with a bowl full of lettuce to start. Don't get me wrong it's nice and I would go back but I'm zur you can find better with... More
