Superb but...

Great atmosphere & food. The but comes because the waiting staff fail to explain what is about to unfold. The kitchen apparently cooks off in one hit a range of states & nibbles that are offered to all tables. As it turns out its a 'one off' offer. If you say no to anything there is no changing... read more

Had a great evening here during a weekend city break to Lisbon on the recommendation of our hotel. It's down a little street and the dining room of this restaurant is set in the nuns refectory of a former C18th convent. Charming and informed young staff, sophisticated wine list with lots of advice from the sommelier - try a Portuguese... More

It is all about seating in a nice atmosphere, being pampered with a great service and excellent food, One of the best restaurants in Lisbon.

The most amazing way to have a meal, they bring you the most unexpected dishes without you having to bother about ordering. The food is outstanding as is the service. They know their food very well. The ambience is beautiful as it was an old Monastry. An unforgettable experience.

I visited this restaurant with 15 others as part of a weekend away. Upon arrival we were shown to an amazing courtyard for Champagne, white port, and some very moreish homemade crisps! After being shown to our table the food started to arrive almost immediately, and didn't stop arriving all night! The menu selection was very impressive with some members... More

Had the most fantastic dinner here. We were greeted with Champagne and White Port on the terrace, we then sat down to dinner where we were served a variety of tapas style starters (all fantastic) and were given the menu to order our main courses; I had the wild bull which was absolutely gorgeous. Dessert was again tapas style. Highly... More

Myself, my husband and 14 others from work made reservations here just this weekend gone. We opted for the group menu and we wasn't disappointed. Upon arrival we had been taken to a court yard where we had white port and champagne with home made crisps. Our waiter was so accommodating showing us how he opened his bottles (taking the... More

Perfect setting for our 25th wedding anniversary, and the food overall delicious. A large variety of simple but fresh starters kept arriving before any drinks or wine were ordered. We were not offered these but they were placed in front of us the only explanation was the chef chooses the starters for us. The food was beautifully cooked and interesting... More
