The welcome is always excellent. The menu is always exciting with a unique starting hot and cold hors d'oeuvre and a fine and season varying main course - you will not leave hungry. Good to see a good local clientele enjoying their variety with truly professional service.

Very welcoming when we found the old convent site down a back passageway. Impressive ambience. Quick service. Mixed quality starters on the table - note that this seems to be normal in Lisbon restaurants and adds to the price! House wine perfectly acceptable Large portions. Cooked foie gras prolific. I had the lamb. Would go again even though a bit... More

We enjoyed dinner overall. Staff were nice and attentive. The black pork starter was very good. The venison and lamb were very good. But somehow it didn't gel into an outstanding whole the chaotic mix of starters may be partially to blame. The black pork was very good, two or three others were ok, average. A couple were no good.... More

I asked the concierge at the Ritz Four Season's Hotel for a recommendation of a restaurant where my wife and I could celebrate our wedding anniversary. He recommended this restaurant along with several others. After reviewing the menu he had at the hotel we decided to give it a try. From recent reviews, I noticed several customers not happy with... The restaurant is located in a former 17th century covent, and the location is really lovely. Unfortunately, this is about the only positive thing that I can say about the restaurant. My experience is actually very similar to many other reviewers: The waiters are either extremely arrogant, or they are extremely unsecure. In any case, they lack basic training. While... More

Sorry but this was not a great experience. Service was overly up front and forceful. No choice given over the starters By the time the mains were offered my wife was to full to have any Prices were at least double that of other comparable restaurants. over 7 euros for a very ordinary glass of Vino Verde. The restaurant was... More

Be warned this restaurant is quite difficult to find and several taxi drivers had no idea where it was. But once you are there you will enjoy the lovely setting and delicious food. I can particularly recommend the ray. It is not a cheap meal but worth it although I found the starter portions extremely small.

Great place to eat in Lisboa. We enjoyed the scenery with a beautiful courtyard, the weather was excellent so we could dine outside. The starters comes like tapas in Spain, a collection of great fish, cheese, oysters, pata nera and other delicious vegetables. We can certainly recommend the Peterfish ... Splendid. Excellent service, very good English speaking people On the... More

The restaurant is located in an old covent. So, the setting is great for an amazing dinner. They serve a menu where you can only choose your maindish, so don't be surprised if you will not be greeted with a dish menu. You will see a procession of waiters, passing with different dishes for appetizers and starters. All is of... More

We had a very romantic dinner with my husband. Found the restaurant by chance as it is situated in walking distance from our hotel. The dinner was delicious! We liked everything! Looking forward to be back!
