The restaurant is located inside a former convent and is not easy to find. I have been there in lunch and was empty. I liked the starters, mainly the segredos de porco. We didn´t like the main course. Is expensive

This is a very known Lisbon restaurant located in a beautiful monastery in one of the most charming neighborhood of the city. If I may summarise this restaurant in a single sentence, the starters. They are delicious. As for the main dishes, you will have to know what to pick some dishes are clearly on the side of over priced... More

Attentive, friendly waiting on staff. Comprehensive wine list. You can eat, drink very well in Lisbon. The setting is unique. We had dinner while watching a Punch & Judy show in the Courtyard. Not at all pretentious. Excellent Portuguese winelist. The starters at 12.50 pp are freshly made and delicious. As with most of our experiences in Lisbon the staff... More

no valet service neither place to park - go by cab and enjoy the wine... reservations are mandatory: choose outside table at the pátio if the weather allows ( www.atravessa.com )

Lovely food with an interesting concept with their starters. If you don't want the startes that are around €12.50, tell them and you can go straight to the main course. Wonderful food.

We ate here following multiple guidebook reviews and online searches. Booked well in advance. Had a nice outdoor table in the courtyard. The best part of the whole meal was the exceptional selection of starters - every restaurant in Portugal we went to brought olives and bread to the table on arrival. Here, we had the staples, followed by an... More

We really enjoyed the multiple appetizers and all the food was excellent. Just be prepared for lots of little dishes appearing at the beginning and you like many different things you'll have a great meal. If you want to slow them down, order your wine, just ask - the servers were very accommodating even if they seemed to be in... More

Went on a foodie weekend and what a find. Not much to say other than the food was out of this world, the service was perfection and the ambiance warm and welcoming, In a stupendous location, as soon as we walked in we were welcomed, taken to our table and pampered from start to finish - not in any way... This place was recommended by Lisboetas, and right they were! Vivianne, the owner along with her Portuguese husband, seems to kiss every second person hello, all the while keeping a pretty close eye on her pretty young staff. The interior is cozy (perhaps a bit too much so, as for the distance between tables) but the courtyard of this ex-cloister... More
