Group place take care!!!

Was reccomended to me and my wife as one of the best places where you can enjoy at Fado. Only problem is that nobody told us that this place is mostly based for tourist visiting groups of 10 people or more, so if you are thinking about nice, intimate couples dinner with fado music, forget it! Also if... read more

Paid too much ($300 euro) the worse meal in my Europe trip. 6 sat to eat and not 1 completed. Stay clear. It was obvious from the waiter that he was embarrassed to clear our table. No words were said.

This was a really nice experience - I knew nothing of Fado but we chose really well. The evening starts out with a show and then the large tourist tables leave and the night gets more intimate. The waiters were fantastic and the atmosphere cannot be surpassed. It gets you hooked on fado and the meal was beautiful - fantastic... More

The very long dinner show consists of several 6-person traditional dance performances by lack-luster sets of 3 couples who seemed to be going through the steps with no real excitement, and very many fado ballads sung by one or two people at a time. Most people in the audience were tourists (this is a tourist spot) and maybe there would... More

Cafe luso is one of the most famous restaurants with fado in lisbon so it is quite understandable the overrated prices.Indeed you pay money for Fado Food : average Honestly I will NOT come back again, once in a lifetime is enough.

This is the worst experience we had in Lisboa; it had ruined my day. Long story: almost all fado restaurants listed on my travel guide book have a minimum charge of ~25 euro, so I picked Luso for its convenient location. The manager did remind us of the minimum charge of 25 euro, but he never mentioned that all main... More

We were looking for a place to watch fado and eat dinner. It was getting late, and my pregnant wife was hungry. My wife and I walked in about 10 minutes after the show started, at the recommendation of the hostess, who was standing in the street beckoning passersby to stop in. We should have continued walking. We were told... More

The nearby cafe recommend this establishment for an evening of about 50 Euros per each including the show. We did a reservation and they are extremely nice around you. The recommend coming before the first show of Fado and pupolar dancing on 20:30 and have prefixed menu dinner for 41Euros. then you can decide to stay for the next Fado... More

I was not familar with The Fado prior to my visit to Portugal...a musical presentation that is characterized as " The Fado is and will be the repository of the gaity and sadness of the Portuguese people" Folk songs and dancing that tells their story. We found that the food and wine was good....and the show enjoyable. When going remember... More
