this is a very nice place to have lunch or dinner. It has got nice atmosphere and kind service. The food was fabulous, not a big menu but everything that we chose was great, The prices for the quality of the food was perfect. 33 euros for two, with plenty of food and drinks!!

Didn't eat here but we stopped a couple of times to have a drink outside as it's on a nice street with great views of the cathedral. The wine was good and inexpensive

We ended up in this place for chance while looking around for a light, tapas-style dinner...and we found the perfect place for us! Lovely service, great interior design (the location seems the old cellar of a palace) and really good simple food and wine. A welcome break after few days of (very good) fish, definitely recommended.

This Restaurant is located in one of the oldest areas in Lisbon just in front of Sé. When we arrived it was full but he owner was very kind and informed us some tables were leaving soon. This is a Tapas kind restaurant but it has some special touch that makes it diferent from other regular and normal tapas restaurant,... More

If you want to have your Tapas away from the main touristic streets of Lisbon, yet still in the downtown, served within an old style surrounding then go to Caso Serio. The food is tasty, and very reasonably priced. I found it eventually after trying to dive into some real Portuguese flavor.

Positive points: it is centrally located and it has a nice atmospheric interior. Negative points: the service was very slow, and the food a bit overpriced for Portuguese standards.

Our short lunch in this small tapas restaurant was quite good and left a very positive impression. The food was authentic with the variety of sausages , tha staff was friendly, the general atmosphere was of an unexpected but very nice encounter.

In Portugal my friend and I are able to eat meals roughly around €15 and that is where we like To stay. So when we ate here for around that price we were only able to get bread, cheese bread, and some sausage. The bread is good but not super fresh and unfortunately not good enough for me to return... Nice staff, we went for lunch and had the XL toast (salmon) and blood sausage, my partner enjoyed the toasted sandwich and I thought my blood sausage was very good. Not the cheapest place, but in a fantastic location in front of the cathedral. If you sit outside just watch out for the pickpockets. Also, don't order the caipirinha as... More

Thanks for the review. Just to say that we make the ORIGINAL Caipirinha. NOT the modified Caipirinha i.e. with crushed ice. The crushed ice and the yellow sugar is an european modification of Caipirinha. The REAL Caipirinha is with pure cana sugar and ice (not crushed). Besides, what ruins the Caipirinha is precisely the crushed ice. Master Derivan, renowned bartender,... More

I am regretted for not coming earlier. Caso Sério was on my "must go" list for long time. I had to taste their famous XL chicken toast. Located on the hearth of Lisbon, it's a tiny but very cozy place, with a home style decoration and good music. I ordered the XL toast, it was big but not as big... More
