An interesting and nice place to go for after dinner and late evening, if you want to discover something out of the common.

The decor is unusual and interesting. There are lots of different little rooms, which gives it a very individual, unique atmosphere. Almost like being on the orient express, or in an Agatha Christie film. They have created a bar which feels like one of those classic places which have always been there, with waiters and bartenders in uniform who have... More

Worth visiting to see how bizzare and creepy ;) this bar/museum is. Horrible service with waiters ignoring you and not beeing friendly or even polite at all. Very expensive.

Although the bar has a beautiful decoration, it just don't fit the rudeness of the staff. After our order, we asked the bartender to lend us the menu again so we could confirm some information, which he did. The bar was empty (about 7pm) and about 3 minutes later the bartender came straight to us and took us the menu... More

Decided to retrace my steps! Was here 30 years ago. Nothing has changed (apart from the prices!!). Still a quirky bar with mediocre service and high prices. However it is worth a visit if only for a beer.

A friend of ours from Paris strongly suggested this place. WOW, it is really cool inside. It is HUGE inside, so be sure to see it all. I will say the staff was not very good at all. It was such a cool scene I give it 4 stars, but, the service would not get one star. We first sat... More

Pavilhão Chinez (Chinese Pavilion), in Lisbon, is situated in one of the nicest and most trendy neighbourhoods of Lisbon, Príncipe Real. Just two walking minutes away from Bairro Alto, one can enjoy from one of the most interesting and beautiful bar scenes in the whole world. More than the sofas quilted with antique cloth, it is a pleasure to observe... More

Despite the fact that this is a beautiful place with a good ambience, I for one could not be more displeased with the plain rudeness of the staff. It all started on a Monday night when I got to this place for the first time with a small group of friends, after hearing so many great things about the beautiful... More

You are not going to see a bar like this even if you travel the all world. Period. Going to this bar is like entering a museum that sells drinks and teas. There are more than 4.000 items from the XVIII century until the XX century, from URSS to 1933 - 1945 Germany, to US and portuguese history, you name... More

Yes, it is a bit on the expensive side, but it is worth a visit even just for one drink. The bar is made up of several rooms which are ornating decorated and filled with various collections of everything from Action Men to aeroplanes. Make sure you walk all the way through to the back rooms as there is so... More
